Lianfang is a very weak/petty woman. Since she's in charge of the household management she tries to control everyone with an iron fist. Her intimidation tactics continues to fall flat especially when she's met with resistance. The moment Shiyi started talking and reminding her that she's overstepping her authority she immediately backs down. I'm glad that Shiyi put her in her place.

the actress who played Lianfang did such a wonderful performace play the villainess through out. She give the you sense that she innocent of mean manipulative child....her character was truly a victim of what she was taught. I felt some pity for character in end.

She played it so well that when zi saw another drama with her as the heroine I couldn't watch it because I was still pissed at the character she played here...lol. Of course I did watch and it was great, but boy it took awhile. Very brilliant actress.
