The drink is called zuurzak,it comes from big fruit trees there,had one in our backyard when I was living in Suriname,the zuurzak trees give humongous fruit and is green from the outside and white with black pits from the inside,the taste of the fruit is sour and sweet.

The first pink drink you got is named Dawet ( mainly coconutmilk, lemongrass, cornstarch (maizena) ) and the podosiri you were looking for is indeed called acai in Brazil but in Suriname we call it Podosiri

In advance get information on how the country works, eat, sleeps, party, drive, talk, walk etc. Collect information, in advance background information what the country has to offer, touristic sites some things could be entirly different from what your'e accustomed to. Those are not sewages but small canals running through the city because Georgetown is below sea level, it was built by the Dutch and aid in running off settled water, please know about a country before spreading wrong information. ​@@svenresosemito1824

Suriname's infrastructure style is more Dutch however. The same with the street pattern. Guyana's layout is a bit different. For example Georgetown has a typical grid, Paramaribo, while it also looks very grid like, has a lot more streets that are bendy. Also Paramaribo is way larger than Georgetown.
