Really great content, I've so enjoyed your videos of the MENA region. I lived and worked in Cairo for 3 years and I know that in Egypt and Palestine Arab guys would talk about Syrian women as the perfect combination of beauty and sweetness. Even the Arabic dialect and accent of the of Syrian women is supposed to be sweeter. So while Lebanon is known for their women being obsessed with plastic surgery and sexiness, Syrian women are known for their natural beauty and femininity. Your comments at the end of the video reminded me of these stereotypes. Really, I so wish to visit Damascus to experience the ancient architecture and your videos make me think that someday it may be possible. Shukran gazilaan!😊

Yeah. Sad to see such a country being disregarded by the “official world”. Concerning greater Syria, it’s a matter of geographical integrity. You mentioned southern Turkey, this is where the Taurus mountains are found, that form the natural northern borders of Syria. And in those mountains are the sources of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, that irrigate the Syrian and Iraqi lands. But today and since the Syrian republic was formed as a state, the political borders are to the south of those mountains, and thus Syria is in fact not in control of its fresh water resources.

Why are you in Germany? If you are there as a refugee, why did you not go to a Muslim country? Do you think it is ok what Syrians do to little girls, teenagers, women and even grandmothers? I do know that many refugees pretend to be from Syria in Germany, so that they are allowed to stay. It angers me what the victims have to endure from "Syrian" men who think it is fine to rape and murder while being financially supported by their host.

You can take a guided tour provided by the Syrian regime and enjoy your time. However, in the same city, there are completely destroyed districts, prisons where innocent people are tortured, and people who are literally starving. If you want to visit my country, please consider visiting a refugee camp to see the truth and the real, miserable face of Syria. You are welcome in my country, but please don't be selective; show also the suffering of the people caused by this brutal regime.

Hmar you just want us in perpetual suffering and misery. You don’t want even the slightest bit of happiness in peoples lives like the people who destroyed Syria for the Zionist CIA. Tell them to leave the camps and go back home and rebuild their lives. Y3ni khalas give it up already. Move on. Syria has seen the rise and fall of many empires and invaders and this will not be the last. We saw misery for 13 years and we don’t care about seeing more of it.

@@blueberryyy...2551 If the situation in Syria is so good, why are over 15 million Syrians refugees? In any country in the world, you should always focus on the suffering of the people, especially when the majority of the population is suffering. It doesn't matter whether you are an Assad loyalist or an oppositionist, because Syria is a completely destroyed country and we should work to change that, instead of turning a blind eye to the truth and saying everything is fine while our country is falling apart.

I enjoyed your content on Syria, but I would caution you against talking about Syrian/Arab/Muslim women in the way you did towards the end of this video. The muslim world is a conservative place and women are to be respected-talking abut the beauty of women in a certain place is very disrespectful. Next time you are in a Muslim country try to be more cognizant of this issue.

Syria is secular but has been Muslim majority for nearly 1400 years. Before that it was under the Byzantines & Romans. Many churches used to be Roman temples. Then some became mosques or remained churches. You can read about all of this online. It’s common knowledge
