From Jakarta, I believe Kuala Lumpur is the best city for at least in south east Asia region....it has iconic super tall buildings, modern society, super integrated transportation, and multi-cultural people 🎉

@erone2203 I travel and have worked in both cities and I have a soft spot for JKT but the traffic let's the city down. In Australia we are more multicultural than Indonesia and KL. I still live and work in Asia you are just visiting and only see a small bit of each city. Though that's nice it's not the same as living there married having local friends while working for years in many countries not just these two.

@@yrrmvn tbh our lrt and mrt system is pretty good and fairly extensive especially in central KL area. But our cities have almost 0 planning and too car centric thats why its difficult to get by walking even if the distance is less than 500m because of the lack of sheltered walkway from the stations.. not to mention the never ending constructions for high rise condos by different developers that never synchronize with each other to build interconnecting walkway...

@@kekeNarwen i have explored singapore island.. their rail system is good and i hope KL can learn from it, but singapore alone is pretty boring, nothing much to do, no natural attraction, no mountain, no beautiful beaches, no waterfalls, no paddy fields, no rolling hill tea farms, no cold highlands, etc.. it's just a concrete city with expensive cost of living

Kuala Lumpur certainly need more tourist attractions within walking distance as the places around Bukit Bintang areas included Jalan Alor, Changkat, KLCC, Pavilion etc too crowded. They also need to promote Kampung Bahru and has better facilities which now is already much better than before with pedestrian pathway compared than before. In the future the local authority and Malaysian government could expand further the attractions include cafes/restaurants/retailers etc along the road from Bukit Bintang up to TRX, and Lalaport areas. Need to fix broken traffic lights and improve pedestrian pathways like Singapore does.

@@nikhassan7713 can't blame them cuz nobody really wants to live in the heart of KL anymore if they're not working nearby... Too crowded, traffic jam everywhere, noise and air pollution, lack of safety... I rather if they rebuild the whole place commercialize the buildings but retain the local architecture and culture elements.. will be pretty dope. Quick story as I'm from the same city as the band! Thought you'd like as a fan! Dolores worked in the Dell factory in Limerick city for a while before becoming famous obviously. Her colleagues got wind of the fact she was a singer in a band and asked her to bring in a tape so they could hear her! Long story short, they laughed at her voice, thought she was delusional and stood no chance. lol. They never lived it down!
