I visited Sammy's museum with the girlfriend and a mate on our bikes just before lockdown. Brilliant. As a fellow Ulsterman it makes me proud of what he has achieved. I really recommend if you are into bikes to visit the museum.

Thanks for posting these videos. I've been restoring my own 1930s bikes at home during the lockdown. There are literally no 1930s restoration videos on KZbin, so these are very welcome!

My Dad had a Velocette MOV, then a 150cc New Imperial, then a Velocette GTP, then a second Velocette MOV, which he left in the safekeeping of his faithless first wife. His instructions were to only sell it if he didn't come home, or if for some reason his pay didn't reach her and she was desperate for money. Neither happened. So, three weeks after sailing from north of Glasgow on the Volendam, zig-zagging to the Middle East (as they called it), she started screwing around with American and Canadian airmen, and sold his beloved MOV! My Dad had the last laugh. When he put the MOV into storage, he filled the bore with engine oil, which must have presented issues for the buyer. And he eventually ditched her for my Mum a short time after he returned from the war.

The Musik in the beginning and the end does not fit by any means. You have to be fast to avoid it! But the rest is very intreresting

Thanks for the feedback - we had to change it post-upload due to copyright reasons. Will be ironed out in future videos!

@@sammymillermotorcyclemuseum Except that, the museum where I always want to go to. It is interesting to listen to Mr Miller telling about the bikes for hours.
