My daughter received zolgensma presymptomaticly at 16 days old. She was expected to have type 1 and is now 9 months and meeting all milestones including standing.

Thank goodness for these wonderful scientists and physicians. I work with a nine year old with type 1, and want so much for older children to be given this same opportunity. She is so smart, and she needs to know there is hope for her. Even if only some improvement in the quality of her life, it's worth whatever the price. 2.1 million/child is so much money, how many children affected and how to afford the treatment, for all?
