We start with the trial grading of total mix and it includes fina aggregates also. The criterion of VCAmix being less than VCAdrc is considered and if it is not met than we change the percentage of CA and FA to satisfy it.

OBC is determined in the same manner as in any other bituminous mix Minimum fibre content (not optimum) is based on drain down test.
