I'm surprised the engine and transmission are still in it. When I go to junkyards and see an RSX (not even the Type S trim), they've been stripped completely. I also noticed the battery was still in it. I'm wondering if they're trying to sell it as a whole.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's cracked or something there a good crunch of the front pass fender, and I see a small wrinkle in the top of the radiator support, it don't take much to crack the cast aluminum blocks, but who knows might be a good one

I own an orange 06 type s. They truly are amazing cars. As another below said, its surprising the whole drivetrain is still in it. The motor and trans in any year type s has considerable value on the parts market. The 8th gen si is not the only car it goes in easy. With proper Hasport mounts and swap axles it goes in any 88-2000 civic or 90-01 integra. I literally am finishing up painting my 97 Integra after swapping it with an 08 TSX k24a2 and 06 type s gearbox. You should check out the first generation Acura TSX if you like the RSX.

Yup, made from 2002 to 2006 and they were made at the Suzuka plant in Japan. My aunt who moved from Brooklyn, NY to Lakeland, FL kept my uncle's 2002 Civic four door after he died (although she never drove in her life). She kept finding notes on it to sell it (the car had 35k miles on it in 2019 when I drove it last. She's since passed away and gave the car to her grandson). All of the local kids wanted to soup it up and put an Acura engine into it and make it a sleeper. I worked with a guy that bought one of these new (I'm sure it's gone by now), and it was a funny transition as he was a strictly VW guy (although he had muscle cars when he was younger). Looks like possible code NHM623M Satin Silver Metallic exterior paint.

Hi Michael Greer, fear not, Fat Foot Films are good friends of mine. Fat Foot honcho Ryan Convery has produced several videos for me. We did the Plymouth Road Runner videos a few years back as a "pilot episode" to get interest from Velocity Channel but they said "no, its too teachy". Whatever. Roadkill liked it and we had a nice 3-year partnership. If you like campy horror flicks, check out some of the Fat Foot Films productions on their website. To me "Mourning Wood" is a classic. There's a claymation opening scene that would do DreamWorks proud! But THANKS for keeping an eye open for me. -Steve Magnante

In 2K2, I got a black RSX Type S (last RSX on lot), then in 2K5 I traded it in (black is so hard to keep clean) for a Blaze Orange (copper) Type S and had an "A-Spec" suspension kit installed by the dealer. At 66, I still enjoy driving "Penny", revving her up and down through the gears (sometimes to the 8200 limiter). You got me confused, I thought it was 210 HP, but we're both right/wrong; "Maximum power - Output - Horsepower : 207 HP / 210 PS / 154 kW @ 7800 rpm". ;-) IMHO; a RSX, or Type S is the perfect first car.

I just noticed the Dakota pickup behind you, ironic, that's what (same style/year?) I traded in for the black 2K2 RSX Type S. ;-D Btw; I nicknamed the 2K2 to 2K4(?) RSXs, the "scalloped" RSX due to the bumpers being clearance for the taillights.
