I just bought a bunch of Ulanzi Magnet quick release for the Gopro from your last review on them but now looking at this system, it's got me thinking again! AAAAAAARRRGH! Thanks for that DB!!

Oh that magnet one is still amazing. My actual go to system when I am going from gopro mount to gopro mount ( or gopro to gopro) so you can be happy with that system for just then gopro! :)

@@DannyBlack Yeah to be honest, I'm super happy with the magnet system and my camera gear is limited to mainly Gopros so the magnets do the trick!

@1:00 how in the world did you put a 1/4-20 threaded clip on that goPro? They don't have 1/4. Is there some plate one can get to replace the plate with the gopro fingers on the camera?
@DannyBlack2 жыл бұрын
Yes telesin has a gopro mount plate that you can put on that also has a screw thread tinyurl.com/5443m2w2 (get 10% off if you use dannyblack on the coupon code)

which one is better hummingbird or quick claw ?
@2011Formosa Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for your review, when the hummingbird is seated, will it wobble on the seat? I want to have a quick release without any wobble. I have the Ulanzi Claw, it does not wobble at all, but it is too big, I wish to change into a slimmer one, But I accept no wobble. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Is the hummingbird the same width as the F22?
@DannyBlack Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great question but unfortunately the Humming bird has a different size So humming bird won’t fit into f22 mounts and Visa-versa. Sorry if that hasn’t help thx for asking. Danny
@PharaohMan0073 жыл бұрын
I know you disliked Gopro's Medamod using the camera's mounts instead of adding mounts to the media mod. Do any of these quick releases help out that problem?
@DannyBlack3 жыл бұрын
unfortunately it doesnt help... only because it would still require the connection to the mount feet on the actual gopro. I suppose i know why they did that, it probably helps dissipate the heat having that open.
@PharaohMan0073 жыл бұрын
@@DannyBlack Yeah you're probably right. I with the media mod was a light weight metal with its own "fingers." I found that mounting it upside down by the cold shoe allows for a quick release. It looks odd but works.

big fan of ulanzi, i got one of their lights and it is very bright. Would you be interested in reviewing budget mics too? Very curious about the Boya by-mm1 pro because it's a shotgun mic with dual mics front and back 😮

I like it, not sure if I can use it though or that I should just stick with the Gopro Fingers. Anyway, I drive a motorcycle and want to attach a tripod on my topcase. Do you know a way to attach 1 tripod of 3 monopods to the top of my case with original GoPro adhesive mounts? It should atleast be 60cm/2ft. Any idea what I could do? Do you also know a way to not make it swivel as what It might do on the original GoPro mount? (Btw, I already have the Telesin screwmount)
@DannyBlack3 жыл бұрын
Hi, so i read this like 3 times just trying to picture it exactly.. i think i might know what you are trying to say but i might need more visual to get it, the part i get confused on is 1 tripod of 3 monopods.
