Wow, great little spot, if you could ever give me some directions to that spot it would be greatly appreciated.👍✌️I’m about 2 hours from that area & we are new to south east & always looking around for some new spots to check out

Old Beatty Ford Rd exit on I-85 near China Grove, NC. Go east, people park at the offramp or Old Beatty Road next to the offramp and walk up the hill. I don't know the current situation. It's an active construction site. Digging was not allowed on future road surfaces that were prepped. Digging was allowed at night or on sunday (purportedly). Fill in your holes. The area near the sign that's closest is where most luck was had for digging, other places were covered over with road.

It’s not accessible anymore , they put up no trespass signs and are erecting a fence

You have got to hate when they do that, but there are always new spots to find, at least you got a few specimens out of there
