Ms Dainty. I discovered your channel a few weeks before lockdown in London when I had an idea to paint my lovely but rather old French Style bed and give it a new lease of life. I am so glad I googled chalk painting a bed and found you. Needless to say I didn't get anything done that day as I immersed myself in Dainty world and was totally entranced by how talented and creative you are. I think we Shabby Chic Vintage lovers are a special tribe. As I watched you regrout and tile a bathroom, sew a beautiful dress, build a playhouse (so beautiful) and take a solo trip to Morocco all I could think was why hasn't this beautiful and talented lady got her own show - it can only be a matter of time ! You are a testament to true hard work, talent and creativity. Of course it's all done with a large dose of Irish charm and a bit of Dublin Craic ( I am biased my lovely mum Peggy was Irish) Keep going Catherine - wonderful things await you and thanks for inspiring us. Beautiful room Catherine, I love pink, green and white as a colour scheme. I’ve just turned my spare room into a sun room/craft room. I got a second hand Laura Ashley metal day bed with a spare trundle bed underneath. I found the most gorgeous bedlinen and lots of cushions and I’m back in love with the room. The first thing I did was sleep in there with my little dog, Tottie! 75 days in isolation so I’ve got to get my kicks where I can 😆❤️🐞

What an accomplishment, and it looks so gorgeous. Ready for Pepsi to sleep in! The only thing I would add at some point is a short stool that could slide under the desk. That way someone could sit and put their makeup on. I like using small benches and stools that store under tables and desks because they don't takt up room like a chair would💐💐

Eyeing up the binmen 😂 IKEA instructions are the worst... ordered a cheap sofa for the conservatory from IKEA and it was flat packed!!! It took me hours to build 🤦‍♀️ As usual, I loved the makeover and the fact you mostly repurposed items you already had just adds to the appeal 🥰 looking forward to the outdoor pub project

I wish I would have seen this video when you first made it!! I absolutely love the pink colour of that blanket and would have picked one up had I known! I did not discover it until just before Christmas, so I have it in red, it ended up getting a pull from my puppy, so I went mid-January and Ikea Canada had it in a beautiful off white colour and last week I was there and it was in a lovely sage. Such a cozy and inexpensive blanket! I love how you decorated it in this room.

I’d stay there in a heartbeat, but travelling from Canada will sadly be a long way off for us. Been catching up with a few of your different room makeovers as looking for some ideas, trying to decide what way to do my spare room, I don't want it as a bedroom as it was my hubby's room before he passed away almost a year ago in that room. I'm going for a multi purpose room as I have a large wool stash, along with all my knitting patterns, needles I also have my sewing machine, fabric stash etc, the room also has to be my office, and as I collect reborn dolls I need somewhere to display them along with the moses basket I have for 2 of them, and it's not the biggest of rooms lol.
