Why no-rake examples for CC from SB? And why dont you mention the CC % when with rake and just say: "of course its lower". Well, how much? It leaves the viewer (me) irritated and unsatisfied.

Does “any 2 can be profitable” on SB completes also mean that we should never raise?

Your normal Core ranges only have 3bet or fold from SB against Btn raise though don't you. Presumably you need to go Pro and see the GTO ranges before you get this CC range? Would you still say the simplification ok for 3bet or fold only for beginners (I presume RCP would given the ranges provided in Core but perhaps say it is the starting point, villain dependent etc). It might be good for Core if the were intermediate ranges at the end of the course for non beginners (and before Pro GTO range buying required)

That's correct about the CORE ranges. In fact even in our raw GTO ranges featured on the full version of the app, we chose to hardwire the 6-max simulations so that the SB's options facing a raise were 3-bet or fold. The question is whether you wish to eke out a bit more EV by including a SB flatting range, at the expense of more complicated range construction. On our Discord server I think the majority of winning players at 200NL+ 6-max follow a 3b/fold strat, partly because when multi-tabling it speeds decisions. The other key question is, even if GTO approves a small flatting sub-range from SB, is that sub-range one you (with your current postflop skills) can actually play profitably? It's also plausible that, against many line-ups, 3b/fold exploits the deviations from GTO your real-world opponents are making.

@@TheGameKat yeah like this. Just in the video he seems so adamant but I guess he warns to not accept a simple never call in sb approach. I think I can personally accept that for now I only 3b or call in sb. Oddly (and a small sample) in my current 25nl stats I have a positive bb/100 rate in the sb which although I’m sure won’t last does suggest the lack of adapting to my sb strategy from villains. Again though, as I learn I’m willing to risk some abc play as I would rather learn abc first. I’ve also learnt that after any 3bet pot on the flop a 50% cbet prints , I used to so often check the flop which instantly showed weakness

What you talking about. The charts i have if it folds to you you play everything, but 2x off up to J 3x off up to 10, 4x off up to 10. Everything else is at least limp. Of course it is tournament play not cash so i dont know if that changes it

Cash vs. MTT will certainly change things.

The extra preflop dead money from tournament blinds and antes makes a profound difference to SB play.
