Always a good idea to turn your machine off during storms. I was glad to see you say that you did that. Last week lightening hit two different elevators in our condo complex. Thank goodness it wasn't the one that we use because they had to order parts. The HOA actually sent out an email telling us that the elevator parts were "Fried" LOL! Love the Pumpkin design on the sweatshirt. super cute. Hard to believe it's already time to start fall products.. This year is flying by!

Yes definitely if it starts storming in the middle of a stitch out I stare at my machine until it's done so I can immediately turn it off lol. That's so scary it's been pretty crazy lightening over here too! I know this year is going too fast I'll be 30 in September so I keep referring to myself as in my 20s whenever possible the last few months lol

Great video! Just a thought - I’ve heard you say a couple of times that you forgot to add a sweatshirt or shirt in an order so I thought I’d let you know what I do - I have a small white board on the wall and I write down when I need something specific so when I go to order I get all the things I need. 👍☺️

I always struggle with color choices and trying to picture it in my head before stitching it out 😂 There is so many options and color combinations!

I know me too!! That's why I like to do the test stitch out so I don't have to fully commit to the colors until I like it lol. What's so funny is when I bought my machine they sent a tonnnn of thread so I thought I was going to have a ton of different color options straight out the gate but they sent just a bunch of different shades of brown lol

I am sooo Leary about doing anything pre-order because I am a firm believer in Murphy's law, If something can go wrong it will!!! I will NEVER risk a bad review or damaging my reputation as a small business owner by putting my successes in someone else's hands. There is the chance of your embroidery machine breaking down, kids getting sick and putting you behind schedule etc. I know many many small businesses do this but when I look at their reviews sooo many people complain about processing times and shipping times when they do a pre-order. Obviously you run your business the way you feel is appropriate for you and your family. Just something to think about, ensuring safeguards are in place for any possible situations that may arise that prevent you from not being able to deliver products you've already collected payment for. Best wishes, I do love watching your videos and being a fellow ginger, also LOVING my ryobi products like you utilize them!!!!

I definitely try to limit pre-orders for sure I totally get it I feel like I have bad luck sometimes so it's a risk lol. Thankfully if something did happen to my machine or I was having trouble keeping up with orders I have other people I know that can help me fulfill orders! My plan is mostly just do the pre-orders for fall/Halloween/seasonal stuff or make at least 2 in each size to have in stock at my home. I mostly wanted to do this for markets to prevent me from having to bring so much inventory with me. Also I guess what I mean by pre-order is that they order it there and I ship it immediately if I have it made or stitch it out if I don't. Thankfully I've not ran into an issue and hope I never do! By chance would the Forever and Ever shirt fit in the 8x9” Mighty Hoop? It’s taller than the 8x13” and it looks like the width would fit.

I haven't tried it in the 8x9" I will have to see if it does! I just got my new machine so I've just been testing things out and playing around I will have to test that out this week!

Hi Bailey!! I stumbled upon your channel several months ago and have been watching ever since. I do have a question about the LLC you said in a past video that you did your LLC but it was done to where if you wanted to change the name you could. Do you just not list a business name for the LLC? I would like to have the ability if things change in the future to do that as well. I do sewing and embroidery myself but I have not done an LLC yet. So sorry for the late reply!!! Thank you so much for being here! Yes if I wanted to change my business name I would just have to add a DBA to my LLC which wouldn't be too difficult I just have to resubmit some information to my county newspaper to get it published that I've got a new DBA (which is a funny thing to have to do in my opinion). I think that's the only thing I would have to do legally I think but I'd have to double check that!! Thank you so much again for the support!!
