I have never seen a mini-butane heater! Tyvm for sharing 👍

A great size for a campervan to heat up the space. The storage case looks nice and rugged, too. Look forward to additional updates about it when you're out on the road.

Excellent option! I might have to purchase one. Thanks, Amanda!

I bought this exact heater a couple of years ago, and although I haven't needed it too often, when I did need it, it was perfect. I'm in a mini-van as well and it's stored under my bed at the moment. I tried several other heaters, but this one is by far the best. Good luck with yours.

I have that heater as well. I like it as is small. Only issue is butane fuel won't flow in really cold weather, when propane will. I put my metal windscreen around it and also set it on fire resistant surface. And of course don't use it too close to anything, it will melt plastic.

Hi Amanda! Enjoyed meeting you and Wynston at Ironwood. I have a Toyota minivan that I heat with the car heater. Warms the place up quickly and is safe. Plus, it doesn't require an additional thing to haul around. Hope to see you on the road soon!

Yeah, follow up impressions about the heater after a few uses would be great. I've seen that heater somewhere else before on a youtuber's channel. Amanda, I have to say, you are a key source of education BEFORE I embark on van-life. I can't yet, but I'm slowly going to get my toes wet when spring gets here. I have this whole Amazon wish-list of items. Lol! Dreaming, learning. Thanks for your videos. They are friendly and familiar, informative, frequent, and enjoyable (NOT awkward like some I've come across!) Great work little lady. Keep 'em coming! 😊

I bought one a couple of weeks ago for my SUV. Sometimes when I travel I have to stay in a town on my way on a two day trip. In the past I stay behind Cracker Barrel or such places overnight, and only had a sleeping bag and used it in my front passenger seat in my truck, but with my SUV, the back seats fold down flush, so I can put a foam air pad, and my bag on top of it and run this heater before sleeping, just to get the chill off, and also in the morning, before I come out of the bag! I read some reviews about the case and it is ok for storage but overall is pretty flimsy, imho. I gorilla taped the bottom hinge and used some painters tape to hold the latches shut on the top. One can should last several days and nights as I plan on using it. By travel camping, as I call it, I can save about $70 to $100 per night. If I stay at Cracker Barrel, I make it a point to eat both supper and breakfast there, kind of a payback to them for letting me stay on their property!

I picked up one of these a while back at REI. This thing is super cool and uses the same fuel as my stove.

Hello Amanda it's Gary and Tatiana I have a heater just like that! I like it but it's best to leave it on low because the flame can get out of control on high really out of control hope the best for you! Gary and Tatiana

That's a great little heater. Well I'm hoping it stays that way. I am wanting to get a small wood burner for my van. I'll vent the pipes out the window with a wood and metal piece I'll make to fit the window and the pipe can go thru it to the outside.

Luke from The Outdoor Gear Review has a video on it. (about a year ago) There is some good advice about a potential flare up he had when starting it, and why he thinks it happened. Other than that, it was a positive review.

He just used it again in a recent video on his second channel. He also had another heater that doubles as a stove that uses propane. Love his channels, too!

I’ve been testing an eight inch terra cotta flower pot (like the tea candle heater) but I put it upside down on my butane stove. The pot heats up. Then You turn off the burner and the pot radiates heat for a quite a while.

Hi Amanda. I bought one of those electric plug heaters, 400-500 watts. I tried it using my 700 watt Bluetti and it kept shutting off. I'm in Connecticut and we can have some real chilly nights. I'll be curious to see how well it works. 😊😊
