Those Kidde carbon monoxide detectors are the best. They have a 10 year battery and will beep (loudly and alarmingly) if the sensor holes are blocked. I use the same one when I'm working in garages in the winter with my propane heaters. Great video, thanks!

Aww…why thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words and I’m glad you have found the videos helpful. In and out is a challenge. I have some arthritis in the knees and a bad back and I do start to feel it after a bit. Sometimes I think a van would be more ideal.

@@WhentheDustSettles Hey, Jason from NC here... talked a few times. Thanks for the video...!!! Good info! Out of curiosity...do you happen to know or guess approximately where the gas level "would" be maybe in this low profile setup? Thanks again ! God Bless...!

@@WhentheDustSettles Sorry, also meant to mention...have you thought about a little flip out/slide down ladder afixed to the inside of the tailgate maybe I've hurt my back bad one time doing that (one leg hip twister hop up)...LOL And I have the same truck....Just an idea I know how absolutely innovative you are GOD through you... And could come up with a genius hack for that....if so, Thanks again! May God Bless!

@@jasonherman4833 Hi Jason! Sorry, I’m not quite sure about the question…are you wondering about the propane level consumption? If so, there is a pretty clear delineation line of condensation on the tank as you use it that gives you a pretty good indication. Hope I answered that correctly. I have definitely considered a fold down ladder. I eventually gave up on the idea because I didn’t want to interfere with the double bed area. I did consider a fold out step that fits in the hitch. Amazon has one. Be blessed!

Ohhhhh wow great idea! I’ve never seen anyone before on KZbin heating their camping space with one of the Mr Buddy Portable Buddy heater or Portable Buddy. All I’ve seen is the Mr Heater Portable Buddy. All beeeeeeeeee! I’m just messing with you. I found it funny that you said the name about 3 different ways and none of them were correct. I like to use the hose and power mine off the 20lb tank do you don’t run out and have to change it in the middle of the night. I run mine all through the night on low. Keeps it decent in my tent.

Have watched and enjoyed many of your videos. As an Engineer with experience with propane and natural gas codes in Canada I would recommend a CO sensor and alarm. Buddy heaters are well made, but it is a direct fired device that in Buildings require CO sensors. Many people perish from propane heaters not working in rvs.

Thanks Keith! I absolutely agree. At 4:43 in the video I show which detector I use…definitely wouldn’t run it in there without having it and also opening a window with the fan on low reversed drawing fresh air in and the inside air out.
