Philippines have alot of impressive builders and "La Garahe" is one of the top notch builders there. Builds vary from small to bigger displacement motorcycles. Also, the caferacer culture there is quite big and it is just a small portion of the motorcycle industry there. Motorcycles outnumber cars 2:1 in most cities. That is why there is so many great builders there. I hope you'd feature more builds and/or builders from PH in this channel. Safe riding and more power to you racertv.

Really nice to see a few small engine projects! Since many of us have B licences to drive 125cc's it's nice to have inspiration for 'little' projects. I enjoy seeing these segments of smaller engines on Racer TV because you're able to see very clearly what a Cafe Racer is supposed to hi-light in the design. These smaller engine bikes are easy to modify, yet very difficult in achieving the right proportion as Victor pointed out without essential body work. It's amazing that a 23 year old like Shiegfred can design bikes this well. And it would be impossible for anyone to find fault in Shiegfred designs seeing he´s probably accomplished 99.99% more than anyone that would dare to, knowing at 23 you where just learning to tie your shoe laces. Now that we´ve seen a few 125cc bikes being beautifully designed, is it even possible that a 50cc bike could pull off a Cafe Racer design we´d all like?
@RACER_TV2 жыл бұрын
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. I know a great project about a Honda S90 cafe racer by Fernando Casado. It is not a 50cc project, but it I think it is close enouph. Lol :) Cheers.

I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives. :) Cheers.

Really, small displacement motorcycles are what interests me the most because they are cheap, there are many second-hand ones on the market and above all they are fun to ride. They may not end up in a showroom but they will end up in something better: the road. Because it is on a street or highway that a motorcycle looks best. In fact they are the best showrooms. Stopping at each project would exceed the length of a comment on this platform. That is why I can only express my admiration for this filipino builders. Regarding its sources of inspiration are the best way to reinterpret the original and therefore make each of the bikes not a copy, but an original by itself. On behalf of the atelier name’s It caught my attention, because in Spanish Garaje is in masculine form o genre but here Garahe appears in femenine, I wonder if it has something to do with el idioma Tagalog. Sounds very good in feminine formr to mi as a spanish speaker. I like the use o f “h” istead “j” or “g” too, it sounds like an old Spanish word, which is strange, because garage is a French neologism. Gracias amigos filipinos, gracias Racer TV both really make my day.

Hello Dear Alejandro. Sorry about my ignorance, but there was a time in which I thought that Spanish was the official language from the Philippines. But now I see why I thought that. Even the name of the Shiegfred Phyle's disciple, has some Spanish flavor with the "Ramos". Interestingly, "Ramos" is also very common in Portugal. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Saludos.

@@RACER_TV Mexico and the Philippines are countries united by history, for 300 years the Philippine archipelago was an administrative dependency of the Viceroyalty of New Spain. The Philippine Nao was a means of transportation between the two countries, in it they came from one coast to another, culture, food, customs, religion and language. In World War II, Mexico decided to participate in the liberation of the archipelago from Japanese fascist rule. Mexican aviators died there. It is a country far away and yet so close to our heart.

An excellent presentation as always & some excellent work from such a young guy, it appears he has an "Old Soul" & a hell of a good eye for building bikes, I've never really been one for small displacement even my first "Road Legal" 50cc "Puch" that had "FullSize Frame" was Modded into a 125cc twin, I had the world admire my 50ccTwin Cylinder "Moped" including every police officer that stopped me stating that they had never seen a "Moped" with 2 cylinders before, I love Angel Grinders. He has done an excellent job on all of them, I think we forget that in some countries a 125 is "The Family Car" they earn less so they have to use "Ingenuity" & that's what he has done, know your Customer Base & build accordingly, but even then I think these will be for those that have quite a bit more than most because as we know parts aren't cheap, but it does look like they are getting their money's worth, they are some of the nicest small bikes I have ever seen.
