❤I grew up with cast iron stoves in the 1960's. My grandpa built us girls a "log" cabin in the backyard and put in a "potbelly railroad" coal/ wood stove. Ah, fond memories.

That’s a great history, I actually looked for a pot belly stove for my log cabin but couldn’t find a decent one, thanks for sharing

Looks like a pretty awesome stove ! Love the bacon & beans :) & your old dog poor thing the others don't understand they just want to play, My old girl at 15 went the same way & it's hard to put them down but hurts more to watch them suffer, 😢

Hey thanks so much for your comment, these actually help. The food was great. Ryder has some days where he seems fine then the next day he’s walking around confused and out of it. I guess his time is up. Take care

🔥👷🏻♂️Clever little stove my friend! How easy is it to take the legs off and remove the chimney? Great stove for lots of outdoor uses, hot tenting, ice fishing, trailer park, small shed, etc…..great lunch you have there too!
@blacksprucecountry13158 ай бұрын
This legs screw off quite easily, chimney has four removable sections. Lunch was great thanks

Certainly a cause of heartache watching mans(and woman's) best friend getting old. We lost ours today, thirteen and a half years old. Had the most adventures you could ever imagine 😢

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog, we unexpectedly had to put down our small jack Russell mix this past October and he was 13, it was a tough time and we’re not looking forward to it again but that’s life and they get older just like us. Thanks for sharing and take care

@@blacksprucecountry1315 when I first got mine I used in the hot tent and got a hole due to the arrestor being to open and the pipes kinda short . had to make mod with a chimney cap from home depot .. but as a mounted unit it works great

Good morning Great video I was gifted this same stove by my sons at Christmas 2 years ago. During the first burn, the gasket on the door fell off, the stove also leaked a lot of smoke and man, the stove pipe is so heavy and awkward, it also doesn’t really stand on the stove very sturdy. What are your thoughts bye’ Do you think it is a safe stove to use in a hot tent? I was thinking of resealing the stove door gasket, changing out the stove pipe for something much lighter and also with a damper. I love your camp videos, Are there any videos of your camp build? Happy Easter Have a fantastic weekend Love that gorgeous cane corso
@blacksprucecountry13158 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your review and I wish I had it before I actually did mine. Yes the chimney is a little heavy so switching it out will probably be a good option but I used it three times with no smoke however the gasket did come off which is not as issue as long as the stove is drawing well but mine didn’t do that. We’ll see in time what it does so I’ll keep you posted. Happy Easter and take care.

Further to your question regarding the camp building, there should are some videos there

My daughter has a couple of huskies it took a lot of meds to get them to 11 and 12 , one had seizures for about five years that gradually got worse, the other had surgery and lost her tail but lived a couple of years after until arthritis finally got her. Looks like a dandy stove, it's a bit bigger than mine I have a stainless steel winnerwell Nomad Medium if I had it back I would have bought a large but it was around a thousand books so hard to justify. I'm still not totally happy with mine I fond it hard to get good heat , some of it is I'm still trying to get use to getting the baffle and drafter settings right for me. Happy Easter Again
