This is great, for some further makeover, you can change out the pulls on the wooden drawers for some gold ones to match the frames. Changing hardware is a cheap option that makes a big impact.

Room looks great! I’ve really been working on decluttering my home, like many people these days and it has helped tremendously to be very intentional on buying anything and organizing and cleaning on a daily basis…I make it a point to make my bed every single day! And when stuff starts piling up, it’s time for me to declutter again

Me too - lupus keeps me down but not all the way out-my house isn’t as clean as it used to be - partly as I’m older - but I do when I can - when I have spoons

Me too (autoimmune diseases)... however, my mindset is completely different. I REFUSE to let it keep me down... I do not lay down during the day because once ur down, getting up is a serious STUGGLE!!! Just get up everyday and GO, GO, GO!!!

Magical! Glad you did something for the two of you. I watched a video that said to stop making your bedroom a he catch all in the house and that was the perfect lesson for me. Going to baked and waking in the morning is like a breath of fresh air when you have a peaceful mind. Congratulations!!

Textured walls make it hard for Command Strips to really adhere. That's probably the issue you're having. Bedroom turned out beautifully!

Prep the wall and when dry stick on the command strips well, do not add the picture or any weight to a hook for 24 hours. Beautiful room! Thank you for sharing!

It the amount of humidity in the air sweetie. I've lived in places with low humidity and they lasted for years! But in so of the more hot humid places I've lived they come off the walls super fast. It's not you, it's the air in your house. I have had luck using a dehumidifier. But is it worth the effort? I just put a nail in the wall now and go on.

Your bedroom is awesome 👍, now just keep on top of keeping it organised! As for the mirror, phone around some window/glass places, and they maybe able to put in new mirror... sometimes cheaper that getting a whole new vanity

The room looks very elegant. It looks like you have some texture on those walls. Command strips wont work on textured walls. I discovered this the hard way. 😉

A mobile groomer came to my house and trimmed my 13 year old greyhounds nails. I got a refund from my dentist for an overpayment. I get to talk to my sister every day and laugh with her. 3 positive things!!! I LOVE your original bed. Beautiful room!

If mine stick they fall later. One night heard a crash and thought someone broke into the house. Ended up laughing our heads off the light metal tray command hook gave way. We knew someone did nto break in because alarm did not go off. Were dead a sleep so took a minute for us to realize it wasn't that. Looks great. Peace!

I know you were disappointed that bed didn't work, but your old one is better, in my opinion! I live in the desert, and Command strips don't seem to work well here. I hung some art with them when I moved here, and I've been nailing it back up when it falls.

What a transformation! The room is so beautiful and serene. I think the color is a perfect match. Love the nightstands! They'll be so much easier to keep decluttered. The rug looks great! You can always use carpet tape to hold down the end until the curl relaxes. I thought you were at a carpet store looking through the rugs and I thought the budget would be blown, lol. My boyfriend's bedroom is pretty uninspiring too, and the first time I walked in I knew it needed some color. The ceiling is white, and the walls and carpet are a beige color. He needs at least an accent wall and different bedding

Command strips- on the ones I have it says in the instructions you have to press on them for one minute. Then not to actually hang anything on it immediately. I think it might even be 24 hours? I can’t remember exactly. I have noticed if I don’t follow those guidelines my stuff does fall. However…impatient person I am, I have also learned if I use a few extra and press a bit longer things stay
