I was incarcerated for 5 days. I released my property, including house keys to my gf. When I got home,my house was burglarized. I have proof of her signing for my property at the jail. I have text messages from her starting,"I'm not releasing anything until u sign over your parental rights to our 6 month old daughter ". Is that good enough to file?

That’s burglary and extortion. Don’t know what you ended up doing since this is a 4 year old comment but I hope you went to the police.

I paid in advance for service didn't recieve. Not doing that again. Didn't pursue complaimt for compassion. I'm paying for service and no money will change hands until item has been recieved.

Hello. Not sure if anyone will answer my question. The courthouse I will be attending for my small claims court case has evidence put in a simple green folder. Would there be any issues in giving my evidence do the judge in a thin plastic binder? If the judge demands evidence be simply stapled together, I'd rather not put it in the binder.

If you disagree with the decision reached by the judge after your small claims trial, you can file an appeal. You can find details and the required forms here on our Civil Law Self-Help Center website: www.civillawselfhelpcenter.org/self-help/small-claims/appealing-a-small-claims-judgment/217-appealing-a-small-claims-judgment
