Small Fullbody Srpread in Saskatchewan Fall 2021 Part 2 | Nomad Chronicles | S7:E2

It's day 4 in Sask. We set up the Evac Snows right on the X of the feed we scouted the night before. As usual we always set the blind, then set our decoys from that. We hunted out of two sets of Panel Blinds, and ran 300 Evac Snows and Blue Fullbodys. With about 5 dozen Silhouettes to the sides and back to help with the dark geese. As the the hunt went on we figured out that we were in-between two feeds, which helped us traffic of the birds that were jumping back and forth.
We had 5 shooters counting the camera guy. It was another epic snow goose hunt in Sask!

Last time I checked, the use of drones while hunting is prohibited in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I would recommend checking with the game wardens before you set up again with them active .

The drone was not used to help with the hunt or put in our advantage. Just strictly filming us. In matter of fact, it pushed more birds away and made it more difficult to decoy them. But yes there are a lot of rules and regulation on drones, especially when it comes to hunting.

Can't figure out why the birds weren't finishing? Perhaps you could have let them swing around one more time, but most were taken pass shooting. Was there something in the field that the birds didn't like? Lack of movemnt? Just curious. (Especially when you have whiterock socks, which are , in my opinion, best on the market.)

We think that movement was the big part of it, we didn't have much for wind to move the decoys or help set up the birds where we wanted them.
