🧈 Homemade syrup recipe:
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup water
(Add a little corn starch to make it thicker)
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla OR maple extract
In medium saucepan, bring brown sugar and water to a boil stirring until sugar has dissolved. Reduce heat to medium, simmer 4 minutes. Add butter, stir until melted. Turn off heat, then add extract. Refrigerate leftovers in a jar up to one month. To reheat, microwave 15 seconds.

Hi Marie😊 Your comforter is absolutely beautiful. I used to be a busy momma like you. My daughter was a cheerleader and in chorus. My son played baseball and was in the marching band but, my kids are grown and gone now 😭 Some people say if your religious that you shouldn't decorate for Halloween and I think that is absolutely ignorant. It's only evil if you make it that way. I also decorated for Halloween but, it was cute decorations and not a bunch of skeletons and crazy stuff like that. I was raised in church and we were not taught it was evil. I think people make it that way.. Your right, take advantage of every day with your kids. Time goes to fast. Both of mine are grown and gone and I miss them so much my heart aches. I hope your husband is not off of work very long and with your syrup I've been doing that off and on for years but if you want it to be thicker like some of the syrup you buy you can put a little bit of a cornstarch slurry in there I don't know the exact amounts to do that but it would make it a little thicker and not as runny

I was a senior in high school this day in 2001. This day will be etched in my mind to the day I return to God. I cannot describe the emotions except anger at the terrorist who did this. I have to do laundry and deep clean my toddler's room. And do her laundry ( although she has tons of clothes) and especially her bedding. My mom did get offered the job in Alabama, but they won't pay for our move ( which it said it would ), so she had to decline. Oh well, not what God wants for us. She did apply to Cleveland, though. Hopefully this weekend we can see about replacing my car. But otherwise aside from cleaning, no big plans. I just wish I had more counter space, once I get the energy to do a ton of decluttering I can get rid of a bunch of stuff.
