Hi Maria! So glad to see you back! I look forward to your vlogs, and check daily to see if you're back. Sorry to hear that you're under the weather. Seems to be the season for flus and colds.Traveling always puts in the position to catch a nasty bug. I LOVE your larger round bead embroidery earrings! They are fabulous!! Watching you evolve whether it be with techniques or beads themselves is so understandable and relatable. It's so satisfying to discover something new that takes us in a different direction, but just know that what you are doing now is really, really beautiful. You have a great eye for design and color combinations. For your sore hands, every hour or so just stretch them out. Extend your fingers and force a stretch out. You'll feel it. Open and close squeezing a fist. Also, Handeze Therapeutic Craft Gloves are something you need to have as a beader. They are fingerless compression gloves and really help your hands from getting sore. They are readily available everywhere, so just Google them. Happy so see you again! Hope you will be back to feeling 100% soon!! Katherine

Then I am sorry that I kept you waiting for so long! Hopefully I will figure out a schedule that will work ok for me - it is really hard to handle the channel in combination with remote work. More time at home would be really helpful - but right now this is how it is. And I m glad I have this option. Yes, it's really good for gaining more experience and exploring your style - to try something new and try to be less scared of failure. You never know where it will take you. Soon I would like to try beading motives - flowers maybe. And see whether I warm up to it. I've considered branching out into typical Germany themes - common flowers for example. I also would like try embroidery for pictures - with a neat passepartout around it maybe. So many ideas - so little time. I will check out those gloves - right now I probably don't really need them. But at some point I will. I am already much better and soon I am on my way back to Germany 😅 but I bet there will be many new things coming in the new year! It will be fun 😊 thank you for spending your precious time on my channel! Merry Christmas ❄️ 🎄

Prices are so hard to decide on... that's also a reason why I will leave Etsy and open my own webshop - then at least I have to take less fees into account... I haven't quite decided on the price yet. But basically I have a table with all the prices for all my materials - what I get them for - and then you also need to consider packaging, shipping, a flat fee for costs like software. Then you need the time you spend on the jewelry and decide on cost per working hour... and then you need to add sales tax... Let me tell you, my working hours will be less than they should be just so that I will get a reasonable price for these earrings. But prices is something that I will decide on last - shortly before I will launch my shop 😄 Thank you for taking the time and leaving a comment! And spending time on my channel 🌞

Thank you so much for your feedback! 😊 I think i have to look at them less - I am always looking for flaws and what could have been better. That doesn't really help - you just start doubting yourself...

You inspired me to get some felt and vaux leather. Your work is so beautiful, thank you so much for sharing your time with us, which is lovely. Warm greetings from me Sylvia in England. ❤

That's awesome! Enjoy your new beading projects! Even though bead embroidery is much more time-consuming than bead-weaving I currently enjoy it a lot more. I really also want to make some new fun fringe earrings but my cabochons are calling to me 😄 the fringe earrings will need to wait until next year I guess. Thank you for watching and frosty greetings from Austria 😊

How do you get your color ideas for gradient earrings
@bafflingbeads
@bafflingbeads 23 күн бұрын
They just happen - I think gradients just come naturally to me - they are easy on the eye and you can easily combine them with a neutral color or a matching more vibrant color. I mostly think about patterns and how I can use gradients in them. And I try to not get too comfy in the things that I've already done.

I am not selling Miyuki thread in my bead shop. I buy smaller and larger ones from other jewelry supply websites - the large one was about 11 to 12 euro. Hope that helps 🙂

Im so happy you are feeling better! You are super inspiring! I have made a few of your earrings but not using delica beads as they are not very economical... 😢 But I would truly love to ask your opinion of some of my beadwork... But only if you are willing to share an email address? But I completely understand if you would rather not! Thank you for taking the time to share your beadwork with us all!

Hi there! 🙂 I am really not sure whether I should give other people feedback on their work. I am very critical with my own work and since everyone has their own taste I don't know whether I should give my opinion about color choice etc. It's important that you like the things that you create and if you don't you should keep exploring. You can find the email address in my KZbin channel description where it shows all my links. There you also get my contact details. Let me know what you would like to have my feedback for: how to get something more even? Colors? Motif? I can take a look at it if you like. Still, thank you for watching and being here! 🌞
