The carpenter is going for that double entendre for working wood. XD Makes tables all day and chitlins all night.

Some ideas you could put into your church’s to make them more lively but still somewhat accurate to the times: - *Confessionals* (small wooden box large enough to fit two people, usually separated by a thin wall with a window so the two can speak) - *sacristy* (where the priest and others wash the vestments and instruments, prepare the cloths, and store equipment) - *chapels* (small devotional found along the walls, usually dedicated to a saint) - *altar screens/rails* (thin screen/rail separating the space around the altar from the congregation) - *choir loft* (platform from which the choir would sing, usually on second floor)

Personally i prefer the old format over the new (presenting the progress) as i felt more connected to the buildings. Kinda remenicssent to the same way you get attached to something you make with your own hands (even tho you made it :3 ), the old format felt more personal. One way to do it might be to pause after some time, take some photographs or film (could use the tp command with the camera angle data as well to get the exact same shot every time) of the build-in-progress and showcase them as the house or church get's built up over time while replay mod is getting updated Just some feedback, i love your videos and what you do. i adore that church you made, bulding on a smaller scale is usually harder then doing something large & grand! looking forward to seeing more from you as always

Hey viggo i love the builds man! A format that I really think u should use for ur videos is doing small sections of the builds in the video were u are building and explaining what is ur thought process while building just an idea for example like the planning. I really like the video lost of inspiration by the way.

A quick reminder- plain churches were mostly Protestant. Catholic Churches were a lot more highly decorated, if you see a lot of modern German churches the plain interior is almost certainly a result of the reformation
@Viggoman3 жыл бұрын
I guess that makes sense. No idea if the refrences I used are protestant or catholic, tbh, but they all looked like this more or less

Looks amazing as always! You really nailed the bohemian style i.m.o! The progress format is great so I personally have no problem with it. Are you planning to release a download everytime you finish a project or will you add this to Darwin eventually?

Thank you! Hopefully we can move this when darwin is on 1.15. Probably will make a download as well

What do you think of this CR update? does it need a lot of space/RAM (idk the right words lol) or it get laggy? or did you manage to transfer Crasburg on this version? :D I love this cute lil village, very simple but realistic! Looks like some of the alps villages near my home in north Italy. Your videos are always very inspiring!
@Viggoman3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The version requires a decent pc. Using shaders and recording as I do is even harder. If you just want to play for yourself, you probably could do with 5-8gb of dedicated ram, and a decent cpu

@thomasscudder56383 жыл бұрын
lol why does every house have kids? great stuff
@Viggoman3 жыл бұрын
Well, most families have kids. In medieval times kids were more important, and families tend to be bigger with more kids and such. It’s a pretty modern thing not to have kids
@marijnwicherink23043 жыл бұрын
Hi Viggo. As an Architecture student I'm really interested in your design process. Do you sketch anything when you plan out your designs? How do you usually start a project like this (after doing some historical reference analysis)
@Viggoman3 жыл бұрын
I have a couple videos on this subject, would probably be helpful. But each project is a little different. Sometimes I start with the lore and create plans based on that. Sometime I get inspired by the landscape and go from that. I always plan simple and plan in details when the time comes
