Small north facing garden uk, continuing planting the plan

It’s hard work digging wet heavy soil, but it’s worth it. I don’t know if you’ve considered a climbing hydrangea..good for a north facing fence. Paniculata hydrangeas are also great..can prune any time and long lasting.

Thanks for your encouragement with the heavy soil. It was mentally hard work as well over the last couple of months. I looked at climbing hydrangeas, they look lovely but I think it would be too big for my garden.
