Everything looks great. I saw someone show when planting they put the dirt in the pot, wet the dirt, then take the pot with the flowers in it and push it down in the planter, lift it back out, and it leaves the right size hole to transplant the plant into. Hope this makes sense. I tried it and it was so easy!

It all looks fabulous, Molly! My tip is be sure to lift the leaves & flowers up & water the soil . Don’t stand over the plants and water them right on top of the flowers. Water them until soil is moist & try not to drown them. This can cause the roots to rot. You may sometimes have to water flowers that are in small pots a couple times a day depending on the heat, sun & wind. Good luck. You chose some very pretty plants! BTW, I love how the door turned out!

Tip for using less potting soil in large planters. Add plastic bags, water bottles or soda cans. Patio looks great😃🌹

Yes! We used old dirt we had for 3/4 of it and then put potting soil so we wouldn’t waste so much. Thank you 🫶🏼😊

Everything looks great. Be sure to have enough soil in each pot, up to the level it is from the pot. Be sure to water your plants below the foliage. Ferns like a mist but everything will dry if not watered below the leaves. Keep enjoying your plants.

I know this is old. But you need drainage holes in the bottom of the planters. With bigger pots fill them with rocks and sticks. That helps drainage and you don't use so much soil. Just saying 😁

I use liquid fertilizer on all my plants. Works great. Keeps them real green.

I found them at a garage sale for the model homes by us. I believe most of their stuff is from at home but I’m unsure ☹️ I’m sorry!

I feel like my front door isn't solid wood, would the glass still work? I have such a dark front room and an odd sized door frame (old property) so this is exactly what I have been looking for!

Ours is a steel door and it worked 😊 you’ll need to go under the “reels” tab to find the tutorial. It’s not on my main feed

Just saw this video. You mentioned that your ferns weren't doing well. I know this was 2023 so you probably realized that ferns do not like sun. Ferns must be watered on a regular basis and kept in partial to full shade. Remember they are a tropical. If you sit them in full sun they will brown and die.

Yeah i definitely knew those things 😊 They were in the shade 90% of the day. I ended up getting faux ferns this year 😂

Plant wise, you need to actually put the plant in a hole in the soil, not just put the soil in a pot and put the plant and its roots on top.
