lovely. I've never done a Yorkshire pud this way but will def have to try. I always feel a proper pud gas the drippings but there goes the gravy. Sometimes I use homemade beef stock for the gravy and make a proper pud. Now i can haz both for a leftover makeover God bless!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Bev. I boiled nine eggs today using the method you showed & all of them peeled perfectly!!! I have never had them peel off so perfectly before & yeah, it might seem weird that I'm excited about that but I love to make & present deviled eggs but mine never looked very good. So thank you. What might seem like common knowledge to everyone else is not to some of us who lost their mother when they were fairly young & never had someone teaching them tricks like that in the kitchen. I'm 59 & still learning something new every day & I love it! God bless you ❤

Made taco meat last night. Used a pint of ground beef and a pint of lentils & black beans. Soft tacos for dinner. When I pulled out the lettuce, still some good after 4 weeks in a Rubbermaid Freshworx container (saved me SO MUCH $). 😊

OK. Now I just can't wait any longer. I'm going to take a pint jar of my canned beef roast and make this. I think I've only had Yorkshire Pudding one time in my life, maybe back in 1984 when I was expecting my last child and we were in a Lamaze class with a couple from the UK while we all were living in the Philippines. With this recipe, though, it becomes an all-in-one meal which I love, and I have ingredients. I will add a note to this posting in another couple of days when I get it made and will tell you how I did. THANK you, Bev!
@anetzband13836 ай бұрын
I DID IT!!! I used one pint of my canned beef roast and one pint of carrots along with an onion. It came out absolutely beautiful, and my husband and I both LOVE it. This is going on top of my recipe lists, and I can tell you I'm using the other jars of roast with this recipe too. THANK you!!!!!!
@mollysmith60556 ай бұрын
Brilliant, Bev. As beef gets more ridiculous in prices we'll all be dealing with much smaller amounts and need to get every bit out of it. My husband won't eat veg but a good starchy meal like this would pass muster with him. Yes, his t tastes will have to change as prices get worse. Thanks for the inspiration, Bev.
