It's no one else's business how many toys you/your children have. If the toys are loved, used, clean and have a safe place to go between play times, enjoy the toys! xxx

I hate the fact that you feel like you constantly need to apologize for the way you are raising your kids. You're doing an awesome job and your home seems like such a happy place 🧡

Hello girl! You are so pretty and the makeup gave you that glow up and it looks very natural! Love it! I said many times, but I’ll just say it again: I love your videos and I love the fact you don’t try to push a perfect life! Your channel is so real! ♥️

It is so hard to find small actual home channels on yourube these days. Especially with kids! My home is 900 sqft, and truly 800 sqft but the owner enclosed the porch and made a mudroom/hvac/laundry area out of it. I have my basement but i do have an attic for additional storage. Your living area is huge, my home is the opposite. My bedroom and my daughters can probably fit a king bed in it, but my sons room is about the size of your bedrooms. Closets are also bigger in my home, but my kitchen and living room are much smaller. Thanks for being so relatable!

I use to hang tops and bottoms no matter if they were sweats jeans or khakis. Socks, underwear and onesies in the drawers. That way you never worry about ironing or steaming and you can see what they have very easily. A second hanging rod made all the difference.

The term “hoarder” mainly is used for those that have an extreme emotional attachment to their items, to the point of physical pain when having to get rid of them. Think “this junkmail has the same value as my diamond ring” levels of emotional attachment. So No. i don’t think you have a hoarding problem nor are a hoarder.

I am SO guilty for "decluttering" and then not getting it out of my HOUSE! The cycle continues.
@MandyMC211 ай бұрын
Exactly the same here. Mostly decluttering isn‘t the problem, the stuff sits around the floor, I get narrow path to walk through and in the end I take it to the attic 🙈 And now I have to declutter my attic 😂. This year it has to change, fingers crossed

Love decluttering and organizing videos. Listen I looked at the makeup, the foundation I'm not sure about color, I 'm sorta pale but I 've always been told I have olive skin, not sure as I 've aged. Would recommend a color.

The color I used was Dune if that helps! I could’ve even gone a shade lighter. I think once the winter comes I’ll need the next shade down.

I’ve had some friends with kids who instead of having people bring presents to their parties just ask them to bring food. Then the parents hosting the party pay for some sort of experience at the party, like a sing along performer or petting zoo, and lay down the law with grandparents and tell them to spend their money on their grandchildren on activities and experiences rather than buy them a ton of toys. It’s a way to cut down on clutter but also teach kids about the value of experiences and memories with family and friends instead of material things.
@shorne89 Жыл бұрын
I also highly recommend taking kids to the library and getting books instead of feeling the need to buy and store a bunch of books!

I’ve barely gotten into this video and you’ve said “Don’t come at me” a dozen times or more 😢 Are People seriously being so aggressive and rude that you need to be on constant defense? STOP ❤ This is YOUR home, YOUR Family and YOUR life! I’m now 60. I’ve been thru the ultimate Trauma. I lost my family. I lost my Daughter & Granddaughter. I lost my Husband. I lost my health. I lost my house. I lost my job. My purpose. I lost my future. I. Lost. Everything. The biggest lesson I wish I could share is STOP DOING YOUR LIFE TO PLEASE OTHERS! It’s a waste! In every aspect of that word. WASTE! So STOP! It’s no one’s business how many toys your beautiful kids have! I’d give anything to have a house full of grandkids playing with everything I ever owned as a kid! I live alone in a crappy over priced Apt. Alone. Because it can all be gone in a blink! Yeah, you have a channel and your job is teaching organizing but still….. I stopped counting how many times you’ve apologized! It’s your family. Your space. There’s nothing wrong with having lots of books. There’s nothing wrong if your kids read them all! Just don’t keep sweating what others think! I saved a big Rubbermaid bin of my Daughters fav toys. When She became a Mom, the pure JOY She felt playing with those toys with her Little Girl were some of the best memories I have of them. With social media today there’s this pressure to keep our houses perfect! No! Stop! We don’t live in a magazine. We live for our family, for building memories of love and fun! I’ve known people whose priorities were perfection. Their kids were miserable. Their marriages failed. You want a home but homes are lived in. Those kids will be gone before you know it. You’ll have all the time to keep a perfect place others will envy. I’ll warn you all tho….. when they’re all gone THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING! Bottom line is none of us at this age, at this stage when we’re alone and old is no one wishes we kept cleaner emptier homes. None of us wish our kids had less! None of us wish that. Granted, rarely does anyone lose their entire family, three generations at once. But we do end up alone. Who cares how many toys the kids have and who cares what strangers think! Stop apologizing ❤ And if that many bullies are coming at you that you are on constant self defense, send them my way! People who have nothing, absolutely nothing left from their childhoods are sad. My kid had friends cry seeing what I’d saved. I had finite space for what was kept and I got rid of stuff, often. It’s a balance! And seriously sweetheart, stop apologizing ❤ After watching your video all I feel is sad 😢

I’ve been doing this for long enough now to know that anything I show or say is going to be misconstrued and someone will have a problem with it 😭 so yes I do feel like I have to explain myself sometimes, which is unfortunate!

@@CatherineElaine well if it continues or gets worse, you’ll have this Grandma here to tell them to stop! Your house is absolutely beautiful and you know how much those precious kids need! ♥️😊 I wish I had done so much differently. It’s been 9 years and with A LOT of Therapy I’m starting to come out of it. It’s nice to be able to see others enjoying life and not fall apart! I’m quite sure those who received your donations were so pleased (and grateful) 😊♥️
