Hi Nicka and other guys. When you’ll upload a new video? When there is a drift, your casting with or against it?
@nickahellenberg7 ай бұрын
Thanx. There is another video in the making, so as soon as I get some time to finish it … In these waters there’s seldom any hard drift/currents. We don’t have tide, so usually I don’t have to plan for that. Of course, due to wind and sea currents there could be some movements. If it feels to strong I usually find another spot to fish. 😊

Hi Nicks brilliant videos what size of rod do you use . I have just bought solv ag2. 10-30g 10ft will be trying it out this week.
@nickahellenberg8 ай бұрын
Thanx William! I use a couple of different ones, But my main rod is probably The Sölv AG1 9’6” (8-29 g). It’s very similar to your choice. 👍

Hi again. Nicka how often during your fishing trip are you changing blinks? Thanks 🙏
@nickahellenberg8 ай бұрын
Hi. Not too often. Many times not at all. I try to keep focus on retrieving, casting and varying tempo instead of changing lures. But if the conditions will change (more wind, darker skies, murky water and so forth) I might change. Or if the trouts are following, but not biting I might try something different. 👍
@michalismichail62728 ай бұрын
@@nickahellenberg Thanks so much for that my friend. I believe 100% that you’re right. I hear others saying to change often, but I don’t believe is necessary. Thanks again for your time to reply 🙏

Tack!!!!!
@nickahellenberg9 ай бұрын
Tack.
@dn32169 ай бұрын
Kul att kolla in såna här bra tips!
@nickahellenberg9 ай бұрын
Tack! 🎣👍
@dn32168 ай бұрын
@nickahellenberg8 ай бұрын

Hi Nicka. Short and nice video as always with good fishing tips. I just wonder how you can see when the fish follows (?) I can’t “see” them following even in crystal clear calm waters 😂
@nickahellenberg9 ай бұрын
Thanx a lot. A pair of polarized sun glasses will help. But often I can see the trouts anyway - at least when they are close and the water is quite shallow.

The fly hanging above the lure/line through, I never thought about that. Does it work? Some really nice fish you caught! Grattis fra Danmark
@nickahellenberg8 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes it works, But of course there is always a risk that it will tangle up. A short, quite thick/stiff Fluocarbon helps. Knæk og bræk! :)
@phunkeehone8 ай бұрын
@@nickahellenberg Oh, so it's a fly - with a hook - separately attached to the line, you mean (an 'ophænger flue', as it's called here)? I haven't done much fly fishing (I stick to spinning, works better for me), but I know that you can get line through flies. I thought it was one of those sliding on the line in front of the lure as an extra attraction for the trout, but without a hook. So I guess I misunderstood. Anyway, thanks for the reply. And knæk og bræk back to you :-)
@nickahellenberg8 ай бұрын
@@phunkeehone - yes. I try both ”ophænger” and to just exchange the ordinary hook for a fly. Works well in some cases. 👌👍
