I inherited my Great Grandmother's Spode Pink Tower that she purchased in the 1930's/40's. It is cherished. I've added some pieces to the collection and added the Blue Tower, which she also owned and went to the other half of the family. I am honored to have it and to know it will be passed down to my son and his family. I'm grateful he loves antiques!

Very interesting post. As a history teacher and cattle farmer I saw several items that caught my attention. I can appreciate the Crystal and China and have great awe and respect for the artists creating them but it is nice to see some male specific items of interest. Thanks

Mary Beth, my father took me to a friends home (he was a reseller), in my younger married life. I purchased a couple of older toy trains, as well as several green transfer ware pieces. The dishes are now displayed on the back side of the cabinets my father built in a recessed shelf. Thank you so much for sharing all the beautiful goodies and their histories. God bless you and your family. Sherry from Alabama.

I have been binge watching all your videos of recent. I watched quite a few several months ago as well. You do have such knowledge with everything you speak about. I truly learn so much with every single viewing. I have many of my grandmothers and mothers pieces and a beautiful federal sideboard. Right now it’s covered with my teacup collection and I loved your video on teacups and that’s when I started collecting. Anyway, it’s a pleasure watching your videos and learning so much and I love all the gift ideas! I can’t wait for someone to have another birthday or when the next giftgiving holiday comes up because I can just pick out something that I have and add something else to it and have a nice gift to give. Well now I’m gonna get back to the video.

I appreciate the binge watching! Tea cup collections are such fun. I filmed an antique shop in Tomball, Texas today and featured a fabuous Crown china teacup. My friend, Laura, gifted thrifted Waterford compotes and biscuit barrels last Christmas. These were filled with Copper Kettle Chocolate Factory turtles and truffles. She wrapped each in snowflake printed cello wrap and fun ribbon curls from Hobby Lobby. These were over the top fabulous.

I always enjoy your visits to local shops, you showcased some beautiful pieces. When you approached the Tobey mug collection, I was quite impressed that the shelf was a repurposed Baby Gand piano turned on its side. The metal pieces which once held the piano wires were still present and the yardstick was a great addition. My father grew up in the Kenedy-Yoakum area, so I’m familiar with Cuero and Sealy. What a great day!

My Lady, you are truly the best. I just got back from London, where I was mudlarking. I found a lot of old white clay tobacco pipes, the oldest is from the late 1500’s,and the rest range from 1610 to about 1770. Also,I found something that would make you smile, the top half of a pottery jug from Cologne Germany,it’s a Bartman jug, sometimes known as a Bellamine jug!! It has a complete face, bearded and scowling away, dating from about 1550-1600. Are you familiar with these pottery jugs?
