Port Allegany should be proud of such an Outstanding "rescue" apparatus!

The is another beautiful but versatile appliance for nearly every emergency. I love the equipment storage and layout. Very simple and quick to find what tool you need. Unlike a appliance i work with.

Excellent rescue. I would have never thought to put the bolt cutters on the door like that. Great idea.

You should come down north of the border to Toronto. We got some pretty nice trucks and stations down here.

That's one of the best uses of OCD I've ever seen. That labeling is perfect. The other advantage is someone who is just assigned can open the compartments and look at the labels without disturbing anything and learn where things are. You can always tell when something has gone wrong or took too long. The bolt cutters being right there on the officer's door probably came from a hard lesson at a call where the time to grab them out of a compartment compromised something.

Curtis the storage for the cribbing on my Volley company's rescue is FUBAR. I love that bag idea, can I "borrow" that idea? What kind of bags are they?

Do you only show PA fire stations ? That was a nice rescue truck.

Between our interstate switchbacks and highpointed railroad cross overs we'd have those lower cribbing compartments tore off so fast. Sweet truck, nice layout, Wouldnt check off the guy demonstrating the truck. Even Volley, you better know where everything is and how to use it without opening the compartment. Driver and officer should be proficient in all, if you can drive the truck you should have those certs. Volley you never know who is going to show up, it may be just you

I would prefer if you knew the entire story before you commented. I was actually one of the only ones that had showed up to film this. I am not fully certified on this piece of apparatus, I’m still learning where everything is while continuing to get my drive time in. I know what I need to get done and what I need to improve on. Thanks for your concern tho.

@@curtisblack2626 props for showing off a piece you don't fully know. No way in hell would I show off something I didn't know everything about.

@@curtisblack2626 don't let him get under your skin - it's clear you understand the importance of knowing where things are on your apparatus, and that you're working towards proficiency. Keep up the hard work and you'll be fine.

@@curtisblack2626 Had no ill intentions, sucks you got thrust into that spot. Rereading my comment came off as a dick and I apologize. Learning a big rescue like that is always difficult, but if you get all of those certs you'll be so far ahead of the pack if you want to make it a career/transfer into more specialized trucks on a paid dept. Take it easy brother, my bad, and good luck
