Well, Emma, one advice... Grinders are unidirectional, just unscrew the handle and srew it on the underside + rotate slightly the shield, so it will throw sparks away from you. Otherwise hold it sideways to avoid sparks. Oh, and pay attention where you're shooting sparks, since those will damage everything in the path. They will permanently mark paint, wood, ceramics, get embedded in glass and set combustibles to fire if the stream is strong. As they say "measure twice, cut once" it's true that some forethinking saves you a lot of frustration. I'm not saying you didn't think, just in general. You could put some led light strip on the trim board, to illuminate the ceiling with some "ambience".. 😏 but it's a considerable work to make it happen. Good work, Emma, keep it on till the finish line. Cheers.😇

One of the first things I learned about the grinder was 'NEVER be in the line of projection of debris, whether you're cutting stone, wood or metal'... The trick is to work with your body parallel to the cut, never aligned with it. You can't always, of course, but whenever you can, do it like this.

There is a saying "cluttered house = cluttered mind". I am exactly the same Emma and those little jobs that all together seem daunting, are achievable when done one by one. They make such a difference to the overall look of the bus and give it a more "finished" feel. Great job girl!

If you don't like the pull out on the couches you could take out the pull out parts and make the front solid. You would then have extra storage under the seat. I have been watching you build your bus from the beginning. You come up with some great ideas. You are coming along nicely on your bus home.

Making it up as you go along is working for you. You’re learning and doing at a rapid pace. Always remember that caulk is a handyman’s best friend. You can smooth out a lot of the rough cabinetry with caulk. The bus looks great, and that means a lot. Your environment and surroundings affect your well being a great deal. Onward

I think you will like the cabinet door knobs once the cabinets are painted, it will make a huge difference and they’ll stand out more! All the finishing touches do make a difference to your surroundings as you’re not only completing jobs, you can relax of an evening and not have to see any more trailing wires etc ❤

This was a great video, I have several comments. I think I haven't commented in a while so hopefully it's okay! Your bus is going to be finished before mine at this rate. I also have a tiny skillet, I love it. Great for chorizo and melted cheese btw. About your heater: They draw something like 10 amps on startup. It's crazy. If you have a less than fully charged battery, or wires that are too small (the wires it comes with are too small), it won't always get enough power to turn on. This will show the 01 error code. Once it does turn on, it takes almost zero power. Use a larger wire, go directly to your battery (with an inline fuse) instead of the bus bar. They can be quirky but well worth the effort once you figure out the quirks. My couch is a completely different design, and I feel exactly the same about it as you feel about yours. Two years in and I am almost ready to do it over correctly. I am going to miss your videos if you're taking a break. But I will be here when you return.

Great job! You made a lot of progress on the door area and trim. The couches, I mean, it's hard to beat the slide out double slat seat type couches. You get support for the middle and if they are sanded and waxed really well they usually function so well.

What if you take the pull-out part of your couch and basically turn it upside down? Then you can have a big shallow drawer. Yeah, I know it's a little more complicated than that, but I'm sure you can do it easily.

I totally thought you were going to replace the double doors with a solid door, instead you just turned your double doors into a single door. Genius! I've been getting pretty tired of all the battery pack sponsorship videos BUT, I had never considered being able to plug in a power tool to something this small and just taking it along wherever you need the tool, that is a great idea. Nice job! As for the nuts as washers, my favorite saying is, if it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

I said this before, I think, you do have a good singing voice, so keep peppering the videos with a little Emma Sings action. As far as fine tuning your trim and stuff, and old carpenter told me years ago when I was a kid, a Good Can of paint, will cover a multitude of sins. Or something like that. lol. I know it's been a while, and maybe everything has changed and this is totally moot, but... You could maybe flip those pullouts over and use them for storage of long flat stuff... Like fishing poles and brooms... I'm really enjoying your build. It's more realistic than watching people who are carpenters for a living or unlimited funds do a build. Plus I appreciate your sense of humor.

Take the 2 seat/Bed and flip bed over and make drawers for small storage, tools, sheet storage etc. Won't take long to fill it up on both sides of bus. Things hanging around you use occasional can be put in large drawer to be used later. Partition off drawers to make things easier to find. Make it your own special storage drawer. Where did I put such and such,oh yeah large drawer. Everything at your finger tips, no need to get out in rain, open back door to have a scavenger hunt for small things needed for projects, nails, screws, hand tools etc. May benefit you in the long run. Re- purpose,re-purpose projects into other needs. Then you will have done nothing for nought. Just call me the RE-PURPOSE KING of everything made. Other uses much better than original purpose.

Emma, chances are you need to re-prime your heater's fuel system. (They will loose prime if not used for a long time.) The error code would be 08. Either try to start it a few times more, or look through your directions on how to prime the pump. (I believe it is "ok" and the up arrow at the same time to turn the pump on to prime the system.) Also, check the business Email address you have associated with your YT channel. I copied a text file I got a few years ago that lists ALL THE ERROR CODES, and what to do about them in readable english.
