I think they´ve changed the way you tame. There are no treats in the game for me, but I can craft traps and if I check in the compendium, it says that I just have to lure a creature into the trap to tame it Edit: Ok, yeah they have changed since this video was released. Was confused for some time on how to tame as the wiki said I needed treats so I just waited until I finished the Kadis mission. Was surprised that I got a trap recipe instead of a treat one

The problem is that, to make the trap, it asks for a treat and I have no idea where to get it. I've already visited 3 NPCs and none of them provided me with any kind of treat... I got stuck in the game...lol

As far as I know, I have all varieties of tames including 1 damselfly, 2 ladybugs, 5 grasshoppers, 3 wolf spiders, 2 hornets, 11 geckos, 1 bird and 1 scorpion.

It's pretty obvious it shows you on the little icon at bottom left and the environment will change to autumn no leaves, snow in winter etc it still gets cold at night so make warming food

How it works for now

You can only be in a party with 1 tame at a time. If you want to collect a new tame then you have to leave party with the tame you're paired with first. Then, when you tame a new critter, you can immediately ride it. There are a lot of hopes that the future update will allow parties of more than 1 tame. If that only means a rideable and a ladybug, then I'll be pretty happy.

Absolutely. You can have any number of tames, including multiple of the same type. But you can only be in a party with 1 at a time. You have to leave party with that one to join with a different one. Make sure that you either are on your tree and within the build zone or that you go back and reclaim your pet later on so it doesn't get killed, lost or despawned which can sometimes happen if it glitches when you're not in a party together. I always keep my tames on my tree.

@@jenniferneaves3892 no. I can tame multiple things. I just can have them join my party 😭 So if I go to the desert, I have to leave my other tames at my base and then go tame something out there.

Any idea where the Black Hornet spawns??

If you still haven't found it, it's above the swamps where you get metal parts and find cockroaches. Look for the bee hives on a box/wheel barrow thing the black hornet looks blue and it's ontop of it for it's boss area

It spawns in the Forbidden Monuments area that you gain access to via the secret door. Nok mentioned that the black hornet that she has you fight came from there.

No. You can collect any number of tames but you can only be in a party with 1 at a time. So long as they are within the build zone on your tree, they will transfer with you from one server to the next. Tames outside the bubble will remain on that server exclusively.

ya, revisit all teh traders tehy will give you new traps to use to tame, you still need treats but not direct
