The Snapper looks like what the Honda H3011 was designed after. Small front wheels large rear wheels, rear engine mount allowing clear view to avoid poop, hoses and garden implements left on the ground. I've finally changed out the right bagger stay and now my rolled $250 H3011 is all straight again. Just used a heat gun to get rid of the white oxidation on the red plastic body and its close to being showroom ready. This Snapper project is pretty interesting. I'm not into working on small engines for the fun of it cuz I've got enough small engines of my own to worry about. But I'm highly entertained by watching you and others troubleshooting techniques. I was surprised that you got this thing working with the corrosion that I saw on the flywheel. Congrats!

Great video. Snappers are fun machines. I have an SR120. It’s a 10hp and a 30” deck. Cuts great.

My grandfather had a snapper mower just like this one. Brought back some memories when you started it up.

Hey, good job, if you don't want it to backfire while shutting off, lower the idle to the lowest setting prior to turning the key off, that should keep it from backfiring.

Hi, I follow you from Italy, all your repair videos are very interesting exposed and very well. I also have a snapper like the one you are fixing in the video but with 15hp kohler engine. The problem is that with the first gear the tractor is too fast. What can this depend on?

Nice! You've got a good collectable there. Especially if it has the tag that says Fuqua Industries on it.

Blade cutting area is designed to keep chute from clogging you can only get so many clippings thru at a time.

On the underside of old decks, once cleaned, I wipe them down with some used oil a couple of times. Seems to stop the rust and the grass doesn’t stick. Hope it helps someone. KOKO!

Do I need to drain the gas and oil to stand it up?

You remove the left side rear deck hanger because you installed the wrong size battery.
