Self defense tip (go learn jiu jitsu at an mma gym) you can tie a short paracord to the handle to increase the grip and deepen the index notch with a grinder so that if you have to stab your hand won’t get cut!

@@milotash the honor is mine :) this little blade is actually a very special piece, in terms of self defense. Many people want a bigger blade for the fear factor, and perceived lethality however, the bigger the knife the less you carry it, and the easier it is to use (mainly handle size) the smaller the barrier of entry to effectively use it, which is not a good thing when the attacker picks it up after you got tackled. Train with hard to use tools that have the greatest chance of being with you. After all on this journey of making weapons moot, there’s some pvp.

Great review! I'm in Cali, so having it disappear on my belt may actually be an issue due to the laws here. I'm a guy with mid/smaller hands, and a lot of knives that are said to be on the narrow side actually fill out my grip quite comfortably. Good to see a review from this perspective!

I actually just received my Boker Magnum Micro and the sheath that it came with is...kinda horrible. Maybe I got a dud but it barely fits and the molding just seems off@@milotash

Milo, the only Voxnaes I have is a one finger wharncliff. It is 3 3/4 l.o.a. Blade is full tang. Blade length 2 1/8, cutting edge 1 7/8. 1/8thick, handle 1 5/8. There is a choil for the index finger or middle finger if you put the index on the spine. Marked Boker plus on tang, opposite side VOX logo and 12c27 steel. Model number on spine of handle is 2205 and is etched china in choil. Dressed in green canvas micarta with brick red liners. Lanyard hole and second small hole, came with a kydex sheath and bead chain for neck wear. It is amazing that something this small is this rugged and useful.

Blade HQ lists this as Boker plus Gnome. Now about $53, was $39 when I bought it several years ago.

@@milotash Milo, mine is Sandvik 12c27. It seems they are now 440c. Personally, I am not a steel snob. I think the 440c is a great, all around budget steel and has always been reliable to me. I don’t find that much difference between the two. Stay well and stay outdoors. Best to you, Mark.
