Wow I’d be able to bring my golf cart along! Plus be able to get it anywhere at anytime I like! With a sweet little travel trailer along. I believe that this setup is just the ticket for any of the mid-sized Pickups out there, as long as you get one with the Factory Tow Package! As far as a half ton? Sure any one with the basic standard engine could with no problem!

I have the Forest River Ozark Light 1700th toy hauler; which is a small toy hauler. We like it a lot. Tow with a F150 with the small V8 in it, would not want to tow it up big hills with the small V8. We also have a Queen bed in the front. Check it out... about 3500lb and 480lb hitch weight

Trim it down to 12 ft long, lower It To The Ground as far as possible, put a clamshell rear hatch that serves as a ramp , porch and shade roof. Eliminate the bathroom. You know have the perfect Harley hauler. People that go to Sturgis stay in campgrounds that have bathrooms. Make it lightweight enough so you don't have to have a specialized vehicle to pull it. you now have the blueprint for the trailer I designed 15 years ago

I wish you would still give prices like you used to do. That made it very interesting, and comparable to other units. It's a great review, and very informative, but it's really missing that 1 important piece of info to know if it's a good value or not.

While I agree, just think about when this video is 5 years old and someone watches it for the first time the price is going to change. It's also going to depend where you live and what dealer(s) are in your area and what discounts they're going to offer. He could give the MSRP sure, but from what I've noticed with campers is the MSRP is always like 20-40% higher than the sale price so it's not even an accurate number. Your best bet is to call a dealer and just ask them or look it up on a Forum and ask what others have paid for it, if you're interested in the floor plan and quality of the product.

That 18-foot hauler is not a bad idea. But I would have a side-drop murphy bed on one wall, with a drop-down table folded against the other wall, using the bed as a seat. A summer weather-seal curtain in the back wall would be good too, so that you could keep the gate down and level as a patio for longer periods of time. The bathroom of the G19FE in front of the hauler, with kitchen off to the side, both behind a thin foam/f-glass wall to keep kitchen odors localized, in a 20-foot variant would be peachy. (Greasy, onion kitchen cooking odors always last much longer than toilet odors). Last but not least, the trailer shell should be a one-piece foam or balsa dry layup laminate vacuum-impregnated fiberglass construction; no seam joints between walls and roof, or side and front walls. I'd also carve a hole in the rear door so I could run a removable chimney flue out of it for a wood burning winter camping stove. But it's the right setup for a hunting or summer/winter camping or cross-country travelling or furniture moving rig.

Nice but to long I just use 20' total length hitch ball to rear. Pull with 8' long bed with 4 door truck. Just enough for most places parking and living off grid and using two parking spaces when needed.

A 4 wheeler or off road bike might be ok. But not for a street bike. Rear door looks to steep. The frame on a street bike is low.

That rear ramp is just fine, even for a GoldWing. It's over 6 feet long, wide and totally stable. The box floor of my truck is higher than the floor of that hauler, and I could easily torque any bike up my detachable loading ramp with a bit of a run to start.

Many or most midsize SUVs I think could tow this. . In fact anything w/ a 6000lb towing capacity .. meaning.. a Grand Cherokee 2004 & newer regardless of powertrain will be able to tow this. .

The Murphy bed is only a Full 54" x 74', not a Queen. I guess they don't build them for taller people.

Does it really matter? Most keyed trailer locks can be raked or bumped and a crowbar will get you into pretty much any trailer.

A highlander would be a little iffy. I work for Toyota and the brand new ones are only rated for 5,000 pounds with the v6. So over 4,000 you'll be pushing it on what it can haul and that's if you're on flat roads. If you're driving in the mountains then by by transmission.

The steepness of the ramp makes it not very motorcycle friendly. More as a hybrid for ebikes, dog crates, etc.

You can't get a street bike in that. The ramps to steep you'll High Center. Maybe if you Jack the hitch ball receiver four feet off the ground you can flatten the ramp enough to get a street bike in it. Harley Riders look elsewhere.

That permissible load capacity wouldn't even allow me to carry my ATV. 790 lbs cargo capacity is not too impressive. With a winch and gear in the trunk my ATV is 1K lbs. Nice rig but by toys I think they are referring to mountain bikes inside and a kayak on the roof.
