A clutch that can't slip isn't very useful for precise manoeuvres like parking or hill starts. I think you should use the smooth flywheel again, but use more rubber bands to add more force. Interesting experiment!

Not with an Lego Motor. But with Pneumatik ones it could be useful

Yeah, but why especially if pneumatic ones?

Good idea, but do you think they would be strong enough?
@Jkauppa Жыл бұрын
@@LucasDynamics they slip when too high torque, just like the rubber knobs

Try the ball joints that clip in those holes I bet it will work better

Not very useful but really cool and fun to make ! It can’t handle much torque, I try it on RC car and there is a lot of slip. The 45590 rubber part can handle much more torque!
@LucasDynamics Жыл бұрын
Good idea, but how do you wanna install it?
@plasticgear116 Жыл бұрын
@@LucasDynamics mounting the 45590 rubber part is straight forward. To open and close the clutch I retrieve the movement of the lever that shift gears (1 motor for both operation and synchronization guaranteed)

Cool, I watched your video... But doesn't the blue pins that hold the 45590 scratch on the other disc when there is pressure?
