We review the GotWay Mten3 Electric Unicycle. It's an awesome, yet tiny, electric vehicle with only a 10" tire.
Get the Mten3 here: bit.ly/buymten3
This is one of the few electric vehicles that's super portable, but also practical. It's also super fun to ride and trick on, and we feature some killer tricks in this video.

Sitting here somewhat smug about how the EUC narrative has changed in over a year. NOW people admit the mTen3 is a great first wheel. Veteran EUC owners objected to that very thought whenever I would bring it up. Somewhat condescendingly too. That hill climb test: Now THAT is what I needed to see. I have hills like that around me and now I'm certain the mTen3 would laugh at them. Thanks!

Was nice watching the other guy do the trick riding. I have one of these MTen-3's and agree with most of your observations. It can be a bit squirely for beginners, especially at higher tire pressures, but the lightweight has advantages. This motivates me to get it out and practice some slow speed technique. More EUC content, please.

Yay! I just got the MTen3 today. I got the 420WH one and it seems good out of the box! I'm a first time rider and so I'm going to try to learn with this one and I think it will be fun. Im 5'11" 180LB and it is plenty strong to carry me. This thing has some power and can easy get away from you. I like the design a lot and it really doesn't feel that small, it's hight is about midcalf on me. I will definitely be wearing pads and a helmet when riding an ewheel. now that I have some personal contact with these things pads and a helmet are really good ideas. Yeah, over all really fun ride and I hope it doesn't take me too long to get confident on this. I got it for fun and to ride to work a few miles down the street so I think it will work really well for that. And if this is classed as a small light wheel I can only imagin what the big ones are like! Oh and it took a month and a half to get this one so kind of a nice day for me today! :)

Thanks for the video! My MTen3 is coming today and I am excited. I need more wheel time and didn't want to put the abuse on an S18 (was going to pre-order). The 2 hours I had on the Kingsong I rented is not enough to really feel comfortable while riding yet. The rental time made me realize I want to get proficient at the EUC. Once I get some miles on the MTen3 I will be ready for a suspension scooter. I can actually place the E-Twow, Speedway Mini-IV, or Ecoreco L5+ inside the tall gym lockers at my gym. Once they open up again I will bring in the MTen3. It should probably fit in the standard size locker. The gym lets me lock up my Compact and Mantis inside the gym next to the reception desk so I usually take one of them. It is cool blasting around at 5AM on nearly empty streets.

You're going to love the Mten3. It's nice having a variety of PEVs to choose from. Learning will be a bit tricky, forget where you are, but let me know if you want to meetup and I can give you some pointers. It's going to be like standing on only the front handlebars of a scooter. Fast pivots left and right is key for learning IMO. Good luck!

@@AlienRides Thanks! I live in SOMA. I am going to do what I did with the Kingsong and just go to open parking lot and get the basics down. I was able to get around the parking lot and trail area pretty well at the end of the 2 hours. I have a helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads so I don't fear falling. If I have issues I will definitely give you a shout. What time do those Saturday rides start? I think they are starting up again and may head there with something to ride :) If it starts early enough I think I can get out before heading out with the wife and kid for errands.

I purchased an Mten3, I learnt on a Ninebot Z-10 which I absolutely love, and I have a ninebot S2 that I ride to work and take in the bus that I drive but the S2 painfully slow and the Z-10 is a bit too big to take in the bus with me (drivers dont get much room in a city bus), the Mten3 is on the way in the post which the wait is painfully slow, this will be my S2 replacement to get to work since the road is smooth between home and work at 5 KM or 3.1 miles, Thanks for your review, ill keep watching these and learning the ins and outs so I am confident enough to ride it to work faster and most importantly safer since I usually do a test on my days off to be perfectly confident and safe to get to work.

HELLA video. I’m gonna turn 66 in July Have many e-scooters but the really worthwhile ones (over 70 pounds) really tax my body, carrying them up 2 flights of stairs. I was considering the WEPED ssr or sst (been in touch/w providers), but that option would involve an even greater weight. Since I already carry a, somewhat, heavy 3 day backpack to work and back with a crazy amount of work-related tools, I’m thinking of slimming down on the tools, and carrying an euc. In Tennessee you can’t board a bus with a scooter, but they won’t check a backpack

Thanks for stopping by! The power scooters are really awesome, but I would definitely not want to carry the heavy ones up stairs. @AlienRides
@AlienRides 4 жыл бұрын
Umm, it's a good question, and it kind of varies on the terrain/obstacle. You get really good pothole abilities on the EUC actually due to typically having larger tires, and your legs act as great suspension when they're next to each other. To be fair though, scooters are definitely more safe than EUCs in my mind. Much harder to fall and handles speed better. Nothing beats the portability of an EUC though, they're so small.

I'd love a smoother ride, but as long as it takes me up the hill I'm sure I could deal with the slight bumpiness. I'm looking for a conveyance and not so much a cruiser. Also, I'm not 220, but my wing and me are.

@AlienRides 4 жыл бұрын
GotWay has their own app available, but there's many others popping up, like Darkness Bot, EUC World, etc.

The MTen3 should cost no more than 300. For the simple fact that the Gotway Monster is about 5 times as powerful and cost just under 3000. So the ratio should match. The Gotway monster would cost at least 7 times more.......not 3 times more.
@AlienRides
@AlienRides 4 жыл бұрын
Possibly, but there is also a labor component as well which costs quite a bit, and it's got a sizeable battery still. I would love to see prices come down though!

Thks isn't deal true as there's a certain base cost just to produce all of the components. The floor will always be 4 or 500 no matter how small.
@bartholomewlyons

If this thing cost 300-400$ then yea. But at that price i’d add a bit more and get a decent wheel that gives you more. The 10” wheel is small and you will trip up on even smallest of potholes etc. 1000$ is a rip off. Get smth bigger
@AlienRides
@AlienRides 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think this definitely doesn't replace the bigger wheels for a lot of reasons, but it's a great secondary wheel for small trips or if you need to throw it in a locker. 👽🖖

This looks like a perfect learning wheel, Not much travel for the foot too land on the floor from the foot stand if you fall learning trick's, Surprised too see hear it is 84v, Almost a hyper wheel, lol, Bet it be a tad bit scary blowing at 60-70 kmh on this little wheel, But yeah this look's perfect for the beginner, Or if you want too learn out too do a robot dance, lol, Expecting some 9.5 an 10.00 scores on the screen, With a bunch of roses thrown at him, lol, You will see couples having an electric wheel dance down by the beach next, Bet couples have done the holding of hands rolling down the street on a E-Wheel already, lol.... Either way PEV transport is the future of the way people travel, Another ten years from now they will be like the playstation 4 an PC's is in most household's now, I wanna see people racing an have a go myself, Racing electric personal vehicles on a race course, Could have races for E-Wheels, E-scooters, E-boards an E-bikes, An it is clean racing literally, No nasty fumes coming from Electric transport, I think it would take off massive, I know i would get into it, I am bad ass on my monster scooter now, Ride it like a bike now, Leans into corners, without my foot out no more, But yeah that be cool if PEV racing was reality, I ain't got the finances too set it up, But if someone has, Get on it, PEV track racing, Sound's like crazy fun too me...................

@@AlienRides Amen too that, An i bet there is a lot of over people who would want the same, PEV racing got a ring too it, But yeah how much fun would that be busting a Rion RE80, Around somewhere like Monaco GP, lol, Another thing is VR PEV racing, That would be class, I just bought Assetto Corsa for my PS4 pro, An what an amazing game, It on par with GT sport as far as simulation on my wheel is, So if they can simulate a super car, Then surely an electric personal vehicle would not be that hard, But yeah Electric Scooter racing in VR would be class, Could use the controller so it like the handle bars, Extreme scooter racing, In the comfort of your own home, But yeah get on some race circuits, Show us how you flex on the race course bro..................
