I am going to start my tomatoes, peppers and egg plant in a day or two. I am in Oklahoma 7a and in the process of building some raised beds for a market garden.

Nice. How big do you plan to have your raised beds? When is your last frost date?

Tip no. 1 is the one I need to focus on more. I am always so keen and hasty to sow that it sometimes results in failure. Trust Mel to have this one covered :) Last frost for me in South Yorkshire Uk is late April (according to online sites), but that seems too early. I might get advice from the local plant nursery just to be sure. PS I love the bonus mistake lol

So true! In my area according to online sources the last frost date is the 30th of March but by local knowledge is the 15th of May :)
