Smallmouth, Crappie and Musky Fishing + Fish Fry

Today we are out fishing for whatever we feel like. No objective, no plan just a day of fun fishing on the Chippewa Flowage in Northern Wisconsin. We do a little bit of smallmouth bass fishing, crappie fishing and musky fishing. Highlight of the day was doing some fish fry shore lunch on one of the many islands on this lake. Love ur videos, I fished the Chip for over 30 years and had some of the best fishing and times with my wife. Your spot on explaining flowages and techniques to catch fish on them. Due to medical issues I am unable to get out there, but your videos bring back such joy . It’s kind of reliving those glory days....Oh just like my wife was, Shelby is a keeper, not many woman today love fishing. Best wishes to both of you and channel.

Hey Tom, I've heard several walleye guys mention wind when talking about walleye fishing. Can do a video explaining how wind effects walleye fishing? How does wind factor into locations, fishing techniques, does wind direction matter, etc. I am a newbie walleye fisherman and I have heard wind mentioned but never explained how guys use is, or how it effects walleyes. Wind effects fishing in the way that it oxygenates the water down wind. Waves splashing intakes the oxygen and blows towards a shore line. That attracts the baitfish which also attract the predator fish. Tom has videos that show all other information you seek. Type in “Tom Boley walleye techniques And locations for what you asked for. Use a fish finder, preferable with a side scanner to fins locations. When you find fish, spot lock up wind and cast to them. Welcome to THE walleye community. You need to let your breading REST on the fillet for a few mins before you throw it in the oil. That way it wont fall off and burn in the bottom of your oil and throw off the taste of fish. Nothing worse than fish that taste like burnt oil.
