I just fished a lake of the woods for walleyes in the early august the bites were non stop. however i stayed at totem on the west side of the lake

my fav shallow diving crankbiats are the Strike King square bill; they can be fished so many ways and paused and let it rise to the top and twitched similar to a top water bait, then make short jerks and watch how the bass respond, killer presentation
