@@punsized2296 I was saying back then that they should've had a Crisis On Infinite Earths-like plot that season between the 2 Earths. It would've been so much better than what they ended up doing with Darkseid, which was so lame because Darkseid and his agents don't possess humans like they did in the series & they just couldn't do a proper Darkseid plot with the budget they had. I also thought instead of doing what they did with Veritas in season 7 (my most hated plot with all the contradiction to canon) where they retconned all that stuff on Earth-1, the Veritas plot should've involved Brainiac & time travel as seen in Apocalypse but should've been revealed as what created Earth-2 because Earth-2 Lionel is the only one who would've known that a traveler was going to arrive on the day of the meteor shower as seen with the way he found his Clark and made him a Luthor. There's no way Earth-1 Lionel knew there was an alien arriving during the meteor shower & no retcon will ever support the early seasons where we see the only reason for him going to Smallville was to buy the Ross' plant. If Earth-1 Lionel expected an alien to arrive and wanted to greet and take possession of said alien, he wouldn't have failed. Especially when the Kents came to him to fake Clark's adoption and all the blatant red flags there were about Clark if Lionel was really looking for an alien. So they could've started the Earth-2 plot back in season 7, which would've greatly improved that season compared to what happened in it.

I would say that Universe-2 of Smallville was way underutilized. It would have been interesting to learn more about the history of its Earth and those who inhabit it.

This is Smallville’s version of Earth 2 where most of the doppelgängers there are evil. Whereas on Arrow or the Flash the majority of the Earth 2 doppelgängers aren’t even with a few exceptions of course.

Season 10's main plot should have been a Crisis-like event where a rift between the worlds opens & stays open until the end of the season. I wanted to see so much more of Earth-2. If they did a plot like that, plus had the Lex clone stuff with all those clones & Connor plus have an Intergang plot where they make a deal with Darkseid's minions to acquire the Apokoliptian weaponry in hopes of destroying the Blur so Darkseid could arrive unopposed, that would have been perfect. We could have seen both worlds' versions of such events and how Clark would try to save both worlds from their destruction. Instead of having Darkeid show up, it would have been much better if they focused on Intergang headed by Morgan Edge who would return alive as the main group of villains with the series ending with Clark flying into space and using the technology of a mother box he acquires near the end of the season to reverse & close the boomtube that Darkseid uses when he is about to arrive to Earth but fails. Supernatural is currently doing a dual Earth plot in season 13 and it's pretty damn interesting. Way better than most of the plots they've done for the last 4-5 seasons. They've shown the post-apocalyptic Earth multiple times, but I wish it was in every episode so we get to see events as they happen on the 2 Earths in parallel.

We never got to see Earth-2 Tess again after this. I wonder if she was killed by Lionel's goons when they took her out. I wouldn't be surprised since this Lionel viewed her as a corrupting force on the Clark he spent so many years brainwashing & raising in his footsteps. And I think it was the murder of this Tess that made Clark Luthor want to kill Earth-2 Lionel when he returned to Earth-1 in the episode Kent. I really wanted to see more of all these Earth-2 characters, even if they wanted to have E2-Lionel on E1. I wanted to see the aftermath of Luthor and how Earth-2 Oliver died and what Lois from that Earth did to fight Clark Luthor Earth-2 Jonthan's battles with the Queens and his other oppressors, and Clark Luthor's dealings with his stepsister Tess. So much wasted potential. They could have cut out all the filler and given us nothing but meaty episodes with the important moments we got from season 10 plus a whole load of important moments regarding both Earths that we never saw. Instead we got crap like Fortune, Prophecy, Harvest, etc.

Yup, and Lois would have been with Oliver, who would have cheated/left her for Chloe (according to SV comics) before he's murdered by Clark Luthor. No body wins in Earth 2.

The writers of the show naming this character "Clark" Luthor is such lazy writing. In this parallel world; the Lionel of this Universe would have probably named this Kal - El something like... *Kane* Luthor..., *Kylen* Luthor,... *Colin* Luthor,... *Cailean* Luthor,... or maybe *Clyde* Luthor.... Since Lionel usually expresses his pride whenever he talks about his Luthor family heritage. Which is of Scottish origin, even the Luthor Mansion is originally imported from Scotland. If the writers of the show put in just a "little" more effort in this storyline; they would have been smart enough to know that Lionel would probably make Kal - El's Earth name be of Gaelic origin that would be similar to his Kryptonian name. The reason why Clark is named *Clark* on this Earth (as well as most other Earths in the multiverse..) is because Martha's maiden Surname is Clark, and since Clark is also used as a boy's first name. It made sense for Kal - El to be named that when he was found by Johnathan & Martha Kent. It doesn't make any sense for Lionel to name him Clark. Lionel could have even named him *Caleb* Luthor, since he has spoken about the Bible a number of times on the show.. *(sigh...)* The writers wasted such a great opportunity for introducing this new take on the characters.

Maybe. It also seems that knowing each other for most of their lives (CL and Universe-2 (Earth-2) Tess) contributed to them both developing feelings for each other. I mean CK and Universe-1 (Earth-1) Tess only knew each other since 2008 while CL and U2 (E2) Tess knew each other from the day Kal-El arrived on Earth (2) at earliest. I am just saying that gives them a longer history together.
