This is one of the things I loved best about Lois. Whenever Lana, Lex, and sometimes even Chloe and Oliver made mistakes, their first instinct was to try and explain themselves somehow - or else attack by throwing some fault of Clark’s back in his face. Lois would just put her hand up and say “I messed up. What can I do to help?”
