I think it's less that she admits her feelings as much as it is her fully realizing them. That's why she hesitates at first... she's unsure whether her feelings are as strong as she suspects.

No!! Suspense is what makes you wanting to watch more shows. Once these kind of characters reveal their love for each other they become obnoxiously boring. I thought the Arrow would be an adequate replacement for Smallville. It failed miserably, in large part, because every character on that stupid show knew the identity of who the Arrow was before the end of the first season.

I love this scene so much! But i still wish Clark would just answer before he saves the day! Erica's amazing in this scene - she looks so vulnerable which is really rare for Lois. I could watch this all day ^_^

This episode was great. The actor, David Lewis was extraordinary, in what few moments he had. I've rewatched that scene over and over, it's like he completely believed in what he was doing and wasn't even acting. I would love to see him in greater roles.

Really liked dis scene as well. Lois is always da tough and bossy chick in every situation; plus a pain 2 Clark Kent. But dis was a life and death situation so her back was against da wall. Clark was stunned himself; he had 2 change his view on their relationship. Classic stuff.

A correction, Clark love her here but he didn't know that! He didn't end the things with Lana yet, so he thought he love Lana yet but his feelings for Lois are there in that moment too! Just see the elevator scene in the end ... Clark was so upset that Lois said she had removed the finger from the lie detector, he really was enjoyed to think she loved him! The good thing is she was lying kkk

I lik dis scene becuz no matter what Clark's answer would had been, Lois gets hurt. He didn't love her yet so if he told the truth and said "no" she wouldn't get shock but he would hurt her feelings. Now if he would had lied and said "yes" she would gotten shock n hurt her emotionally too becuz she told him how she truly felt and he couldn't be honest with her. So that why he didn't say anything and choose to save her instead. I believe he did the right move. I also love this scene becuz it fin

Ok ladies,if you noticed on the show? Lois would always give Clark a hard time & vice versa. But when Clark pretended to be Green Arrow & Lois kissed him? He liked it & so did she! But he never said told her he was Green Arrow, except in the Crimson Episode. Bottomline, their relationship is like a School Boy & School Girl type thing. In Elementary & Middle School, you see a guy or girl you didn't think you'd like at first. Been then as they grow up, they aren't so icky anymore. And become Hot!

@nell572 Yeah that's what all Clois fans who are in denial have to say. But every time Clark had a choice he chose Lana, in Bride and in Red. The writers should have done much better with Lois*Clark, the character of Lois Lane deserved a he11 of a lot better than she was given on this crap show! She had to play third string to Lana and then Chloe.

I completely disagree with your assessment. First of all, relationships end... no matter the reason, and people move on and find someone else and realize that their past relationships weren’t it. Clark was hung up on Lana, yes, however... as seen in bride, he was prepared to move on. He even smiled when Lana said that for the first time in her life it felt right, and when he said “so it’s over, it’s that easy”. I wasn’t happy with how the writers retconned the whole she left to help Clark fulfill his destiny and made it seem like she was forced to leave... and then how forgiving Lois was when she came back... but, we know he at least thought about her while she was gone. He told Chloe “I needed to remind myself we broke up for a reason” and Lois is the one who told him that. He did call Lois 3 times while Lana was around. And he seemed to need some kind of justification as to why “you can’t fall out of love with someone, just like that, right”. The writers screwed up when they retconned her goodbye and then had Clark sleep with her. But honestly he wasn’t ready for Lois yet. But that doesn’t mean she’s a consolation prize. That’s like saying Clark only got back with Lana because Alicia died. So Lana was a 2nd choice. As we seen, Lana was already lying (or hiding intentions) to Clark again when she came back in season 8. She had to have power. She couldn’t accept who she was with Clark she had to be an equal. Else it wouldn’t work in her mind. And Clark WAS worried about that. He told her it was “just a dream Lana”. Fast forward to Lois and Clark’s relationship in 9/10. He told Lois his dream was her. He told her she was the one. He told her that he always knew it would be them, because people in adult relationship can look back on past relationships and realize why it never worked and why this one does. With Lana he begged her to stay, even if they couldn’t be together, he just wanted her in his life and she couldn’t do that. With Lois, he flat out told AU Lois he couldn’t live in a world where she didn’t love him. With Lana, they are dealt a krypto bomb scenario, and let’s be honest... Clark didn’t really hesitate much to tell Lana she had to do it. Were there ways to avoid what happened? I’m sure there were. If he had thought it through for more than 5 seconds. With Lois, kryptonite wasn’t involved but an impossible situation was. Save Lois or the people around the daily planet. Not only did he save Lois FIRST, without hesitation... he found that the fear of losing her and not being able to save everyone else, made him stronger and he reached a warp speed he didn’t know he had. Let’s say the situations were reversed and it was Lois on a krypto time bomb in season 10. Would Clark have made the same decision he did with Lana or would he have been stronger, and refused to face that future without her. The answer is obvious. I HATE how people say Lois was second choice. No, she wasn’t. If that was true every friggin relationship that had an ex would be considered 2nd choice. People evolve. They change. Their needs change. They mature and grow up. Then they can look back and say, wow... that was so toxic. Wow, those feelings were real... but this is something different, better, healthier. Lana and Clark would of NEVER lasted regardless of the bomb or not.
