This show was Phenomenal!..after watching for Ten years I must say that the journey was worth it. Any one knew when the show First began that the producers Never intended to have Tom Welling flying and wearing the suit. It was only Clark's journey to being the man of steel. Showing the Human side of Superman and how he became what we know him to be today. What a Great Story! So sad to start it all over from the beginning...knowing the fate of all the characters.

Absolutely magical. Really well edited. I loved the incorporation of clips from various seasons, it made the whole recap feel that much epic and grandiose! The last seconds gave me such chills!

It does make me sad that we'll likely never get to see Tom and Erica and crew in a full Superman movie... Between you and SouperboyX we get the best of Smallville. Wish that Smallville had you both working for them!

@RESIDENTRYAN The final shot was Tom opening his shirt to the suit. Yeah, they didn't use the full suit for live action but I can almost guarantee you that you would have been more upset if they had. It wouldn't have worked. If you honestly expected them to do more with the finale in regards to Superman, then you missed the entire point of Smallville. They showed us WAY more Superman than we thought they would. they gave us the perfect amount.

@KirKanos08 He didn't kill them. If you half paid attention you would have seen that the arrows weren't regular arrows and that he sent them to the Phantom Zone. And there was resistance, that's why the planet didn't move right away. For rewatching it a lot you sure didn't pay attention.

@KirKanos08 Look at the arrows right as Oliver pulls them back, they glow like the PZ crystal. And if he killed them, where exactly did their bodies go? If you really expected them to show Clark fighting Para-demons with the budget they had, I don't know what to tell you. CW had cut and cut the shows budget and with what they had, they did amazing. Why would Clark to go fight on the planet? The only reason the planet was coming was because of the darkness inside people. Maybe you should think.

After a few months, and several rewatches, I've decided that the Smallville Series Finale was a colossal failure. The series should have ended with Superman going to Apokolips and facing Darkseid - not with him pushing the planet away with zero resistance from the planets inhabitants. What was the point of Darkseid even coming to Earth only to show up at half-strength, smoke-monster form? And don't get me started on Green Arrow killing Granny, Desaad, and Godfrey...

@KirKanos08 I can make the assumption because of how the arrows looked and what happened to the three. It makes perfect sense. If he would have killed them they would have dropped to the floor. Not disappeared. PZ arrows are unbelievable to you? But somehow you let slide the show being about an alien with super powers. Gotcha.

@estazAEK Not once in the episode does anyone infer that Green Arrow used "Phantom Zone" arrows What, where they printed on the side? No, he straight up took out their vessels, i.e. killed them. Don't twist my words friend - resistance means Clark on the actual Apokalips fighting Para-demons or Darkseid himself. Next time think before you post

Sorry I loved smallville but let's not fool ourselves the series finale was absolutely crap,how he flew was crap the whole season 10 was crap, after season 7 when alfred gough and miles Miller left the show lost it essence, the writing was poor ,the budget was slash season 8,9,10 were crap, to be honest 9 tried to redeem it but sorry it was disappointing
