Loved the first 4 seasons. I just didn’t get the need of putting Lana’s character in such a pain the entire show. No one could write a happy ending script for Clark and Lana? a strong couple that went against everything together? an exciting love being Clark’s support ? Instead of making her suffer as she did? yes! Drama is a need to keep people’s attention. Ok, But she seemed to be Clark’s hindrance, the one disturbing him and he already had a lot of those. She was actually his eternal love, we could suffer and keep falling in love with them two. We could definitely enjoy more of them together. Now that I started watching it again, I get frustrated every time I see what they did with the love part in every episode. Clark got to be an incredible superhero but I really immature teen-adult person full of nonsense decisions. Sometimes life isn’t about doing the right thing that is different for everyone, it’s more about following your heart and making you happy. Instead, they gave us a Clark who was always trying to do the right thing for everyone even if those things made him an unhappy hero! what leads me to wonder if that is really how I wanna understand life is like! Being frustrated and getting used to it because of others’ happiness ? Not sure. I think not everyone was focused on superheroes only. Others (like me) enjoy love and like believing in it at least in fiction! .. it could be better for sure, they just wanted to keep writing unnecessary seasons. I stopped watching it when Kristin and Michael left the show. I think I know why now.

In my honest opinion, Michael Rosenbaum is probably the greatest actor to portray Lex Luthor on TV. Gene Hackman is the best Lex Luthor on the big screen.

I love that 20 years later, people are put here talking to the trio that made this show. Because at the end of the day Clark was the main character, Lana was the love of his life, and Lex was his best friend and arch enemy. For me these 3 are what smallville is about.... and if they do any kind of reunion with Kristin, I hope they do her justice. She is my favorite character of all time, and I adored her... but we also can't ignore the fact that she and Clark have a complicated past and have ALWAYS been in love, regardless of who they rebounded with.

Lana is soo beautiful and it gives me more reason to watch the show😂 I love the soundtrack also coz it provides an additional emotion to each scene. 7:28 Tom thought Lana was only going to be gone for a bit and she will be back later on in the show. And Tom is right, the show is Smallville, not Metropolis. More Lana and Lois interactions would be absolutely amazing to see. Lana is cured at Star Labs and is able to be around Clark AND MOVES BACK! Lex starts getting flashbacks of his "lost memories" and returns to Smallville to find answers. Ohh the possibilities!

My favorite series! It came out during an incredibly difficult part of my life and continued into early adulthood. My life was better because of this show. I know it sounds cliche, but it was something I held onto during those times. Much to love to the creators and cast and crew!!

I’ve never like Clark and Lana together, but the way they sent Lana away of the show made me so mad that I quit watching. It’s been on my plans to finish the show since, but I’m lazy and I would probably had to watch it all over again. Allison Mack broke my heart too because Chloe was one of my favorites and I don’t know if I want to see her on the show free judging.

I'm pretty sure if it was in today's time, more people would naturally love Clana than previous Era. Because we don't live our whole life pretending to be happy with whatever works!😅 But at the end, just like KK said, Lana lived a happy and meaningful life even without all the whirlwind stuff. She lived for herself and the things she believed after leaving Clark. Nice closure.

I love Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum. I agree the best Superman and Lex Luthor ever. The only thing I really hate with all the Superman series or movies, was that why not Lana and Clarke together until the end. I don't like Lois Lane with Clark. That's why I always skip their episodes. I just want Lana and Clarke. But then I felt sorry for Lex Luthor because he's so inlove with Lana and he's so nice to both Clarke and Lana. But in fairness they look cute too as couple.

I remember my mom yelling from the living room “ smallville is on tv, come and watch “. Now she’s gone to heaven - but every time I watch this show it reminds me of her and the good days:) it came out when we still lived in Vancouver and it was filmed there. Memories !

Can't believe it's been 20 years. I remember thinking "IDK if this show will work" then watched it and just was amazed with the direction of the show. Made it about Clarks journey and the people he brought along. And his parallel and opposite relationship with Lex (and how the Kenta and Luthors were completely different in their views on raising a son which caused that split). Huge shout out to Annette'O Tools and John Schneider as Clarke's parents as well. They were just as big a part of what gave it heart . John Glover was Also equally as evil and so good as Lionel Luthor as well.

I have to say for myself as someone who has always liked Kristin Kreuk ever since childhood. She was a sort of first love for me. I am still absolutely in love with her. I very recently got a dream fullfilled to see her, in fact all 3 of these guys at the Fan Expo Philadelphia convention. Was such an amazing time. Kristin was so kind and sweet. Got some lovely photos with her.😀
