Not coming to Australia.. this is crazy.. I know why, cause it's a well priced compact EV WITH good acceleration (especially Brabus) and that has no use for Australian dealers who want to fleece buyers dry. I would LOVE one of these.

Of the good looking compact crossovers I really like Cupra Born and the new Mini electric (coming Q4/2023) looks attractive, too. The facelifted VW ID.3 (coming Q4/2023) will be interesting as well. The Smart #1 to go for is the Brabus😀

I was interested in buying but 40k is too much for a small car IMO. Smart used to be cheaper... I'd buy that for CHF 30'000.- with the premium package and most range. I think the Chinese realised that premium interiors have a cost...

Hi, you can order the Smart #1 for delivery in Q3 2023, but is not yet deliverable.

It doesn't have 12 cameras. It has 12 sonar.

Thx, I am aware of the car having 12 sensors, the camera information came from the dealer. Do you know the number of cameras then?

@@morten_hannesbo it has 4 cameras for the 360 parking and then another for the AEB system. Good review by the way, very thorough. I'm thinking of having one when the lease on my Kona Electric ends next year.
