To You I raise my eyes, O You Who dwell in the heavens. Behold! Like the eyes of servants unto their masters' hand, like the eyes of a maid unto her mistress' hand, so are our eyes unto HaShem, our G-d, until He will favor us. Favor us, HaShem, favor us, for we are fully sated with contempt. Our souls are fully sated with the mockery of the complacent ones, with the contempt of the arrogant. Thank you Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi, who speaks from the mouth of HaShem. Praise HaShem! Bless this Rabbi and safeguard him.

On this subject, I heartily recommend a track I discovered by accident (it appeared in my 'recommended' feed) by a British band called UNIT. The track is A Tribute To The Israeli Defence Force and it is excellent - tuneful and forceful without being bombastic combined with a lovely lyric. I know next to nothing abou the group but on investigation I see they've recorded a whole batch of Jewish related tracks such as Pesach, Yom Kippur, Bar Mitzvah, Israel Is Real, The 613 Mitzvot and probably others I son;t know about yet. Some of them feature Rabbi Moshe Bryski which is definitely a recommendation in itself.

Kavod HaRav Mizrahi, you are speaking Emet. In Mexico 🇲🇽, they are either inclined to their statue idols, or their witchcraft. They have a specific city called Catemaco where people practice witchcraft and necromancy. They also have other idols besides yoshke . Baruch HaShem, somehow I was always disgusted by looking at their statues and thought to myself how silly it was to kiss them or touch them for the sake of receiving miracles. All my family in Mexico are yoshke, yimach shemo v’zichro, worshippers.

how is the worship of the messiah idol worship, when Daniel says all the nations will give the messiah the exact worship God recieves in the temple? (Daniel 7:13-4 and Ezra 7:24) the aramaic word used in Daniel 7:14 "pelakh" is the exact word used in Ezra 7:24 to denote the worship God recives in the temple. the the Messiah will recieve divine worship, the worship God recieves in the temple, from all nations so how is the worship of the messiah idolatry?
@ShaareiZoharDaas Жыл бұрын
Worshipping the Messiah who is merely a servant of G-D is Idolatry."Electing" the wrong person as Messiah is Idolatry there is NO support in Jewish law for the non Jewish election of their messiah. G-D will announce who the messiah actually is through Eliyahu and the entire world will Know. When this occurs a non jews only hope is to be righteous through the SEVEN LAWS OF NOAH. YOU have 7 things to do we have 613 commandments. Judaism can never be subverted the inverted copy that is Christianity will never usurp authentic non hyphenated Orthodox Judaism. Why? Because G-D is not a liar.

@@lilianavois4391 then why is the Messiah recieving divine worship? the worship God recieves in the temple? (Dan 7:14 Ez 7:24) because the Messiah is God
@lilianavois4391 Жыл бұрын
First of all you probabily know, meshiah means anointed. One anointed was Cuyrus who was called to free the captive sons of Israel, Isaiah 45:1 (לִמְשִׁיחוֹ)The anointed one/Le meshihu. There is a (potential)Meshiah in every generation the sages say but he cannot reveal himself because God, in his chesed, is waiting for people to make teshuvah and turn back to Him.. In Daniel 7:13 the vision Daniel has is LIKE a son of man (here Daniel uses the word enosh, not adam, not even ish), and yes, he will be a king..a leader and he will be respected and given honor LIKE for a king. But that,s very-very different kind of honor and respect. God,s anointed one, would NOT want to be worshiped as/like God. This is the big trap of christendom..That a creation could be equal to it,s Creator. In another vein, in this century when you can educate yourself in terms of cuantum physics and cosmology to be so stocked in a human created story that you cannot see how downright ridiculous is to belive that a creation (man, bird, angel) is equal with this incomprehensible, all encompassing and life giving Force or Energy (and this is already a limitation) that is God..that our mind cannot ever comprehend...is beyond me to understand. It is so obvious for me now. But, as I mentioned, it took years for me to open myself to the truth and to accept that I am living in a lie. One that was probabily necesary in that stage of my life. But when I realy asked God to help me..God opened my eyes.. Do not belive that by worshiping and praying to God ONLY someone in heavens will get angry with you.. Get strong, get up and talk only with your Father in Heavens. You do not need a "big brother"to speak in your name. Only if you choose so. Do you feel so wortless ? Don,t ! You are the child of God as well and He is waiting for you to came to Him. God, only God is THE Saviour ! @@deeplight7206

@@lilianavois4391 thanks for your response the first mistake you made is assuming the messiah is a created being. a being who isn't eternal, but someone created like us. this is totally wrong. the messiah isn't a created being, but deity. he is God in the flesh. he is the Jehovah who came in the flesh. he isn't a created being. that is why he is called the God who has an eternal throne (Psal 45:6-7) Jehovah our Righteousness as to his name (Jer 23:5-6) the Jehovah our God who shall come with his holy ones (Zach 14) the mighty God who is the father of eternity (Is 9:6-7) the Lord in heaven (Psal 110:1) he is eternal in fact, that is why is is said to be the one whose-comings forth is from old (Mic 5:2) the hebrew word used in Mic 5:2 is the exact word used in Deut 33:27-28 to describe God being the God of eternity. it is also the same word used in Psal 55:19 and Psal 74:12 to describe God being eternal. all of this is proof that the messiah is indeed the God who came in the flesh finally, the word used in Dan 7:14 "pelakh" is a word which denotes divine worship. the worship that is given to God alone. this word is the word used in Ezra 7:24 to speak of the worship God recieves in the temple. how can the messiah recieve the exact worship God recieves in the temple? becaus he is God. he i st he God who came in the flesh. so worshiping the messiah is a must as for the word "messiah" yes it does mean annointed, and it can refer to anyone who has been anointed. if you are anointed/if the Spirit of God is upon you you will be called an anointed one. but in this context, i am usingthe word messiah to speak of the son of David, the redeemer, the promised ruler. and the term "messiah" can be used for him because that is how he is spoken of in Psal 45:7 and Is 61:1.

how can the death of the messiah (God in the flesh) be illogical, when death is the separation of the body and soul? Gen 35:18 says "..as her soul was leaving.." so from this we see death means the separation of the body and soul. it doesn't mean you vanish in to nothingness or you cease to exist, but the soul and the body separate. so when the messiah died, his soul separated from the body, even though it didn't separate from the divine essense. the divine essence wasn't separated from the body or the soul. the only separation was between the body and the soul. how is this illogical?

Read Exodus 20 chapter. worship or veneration is a different issue. According to God's law (Torah) making a statue or idol is a serious sin. // You shall not make unto you any graven image. // Also coming to veneration to a statue. that is again serious sin according to God's law. // You shall not bow down before them or serve them //
