If i use Enya Nexg 2 (steel strings) for cloning the acoustic profile of a nylon string guitar, will it sound like a nylon string guitar? or If i use Enya Nexg 2 N (nylon strings) for cloning the acoustic profile of a steel string guitar, will it sound like a steel string guitar?

Wow, that's actually a fantastic question! I actually haven't profiled any nylon string string guitars on my steel string NEXG2.

@@SpellsandCurses It would be great if you tried. I would be very grateful. As a Brazilian, I play a lot of songs on nylon strings, like samba and bossa nova, but we enjoy a lot of pop/rock songs on steel strings. I would like to know if Enya Nexg 2 can be my All In One.

Thanks for the review. I’d love to use mic and looper functions for busking. Since I play percussive style, I wonder if it generates useable tone when I slap the bridge and the fingerboard.
@SpellsandCursesАй бұрын
The mic and looper are pretty ideal for busking imo. However, I don't think it's as useable for a percussive style as the only thing that picks up on hits is the bridge. The X4 pro or mini would be better for that style, but doesn't come with a mic or looper. I made a video about them as well.

Wow, that NEXG2 is amazing! How much fun is that with so many experimental options!!! Loving the purple hues & rose gold combo aswell, how beautiful. You can always stick on your own rubber pad if you need one Rave! 🙌😊

LMAOOO I somehow skipped over the word "pad" in your last sentence and couldn't stop laughing! But yes, I've been playing so many shows with this guitar and I think it's soo versatile!!

Great video man. I bought the Enya Go medium steel string acoustic. Its fun, the reverbs decent. Very limited FX but its got good action OTB and sounds and tunes and plays nice. FX are so limited......so..... I went ahead and bought this Nextg v2 last night. The Purple one Was going to go white so I could do my own paint job but I like the purple. And I can still do my own paint job, just a touch trickier 😅 . It seems like everything I want in one unit as far as portable guitar playing goes Might gift the Go to my Nephew when the Gen 2 arrives

Hell yeah! Both are great options! I actually used the Enya Go for my tour of Southeast Asia a couple of weeks ago, in the NEXG2 is my go-to for most of my solo performances

Hi, I am a beginner and I simply do not know what guitar to buy? I found over internet some of the guitars I would like: - Lava Me 4 Spruce - Lava Me pro - Enya Nexg 2 - Enya X4 Pro From your experience, which one could be better for me? I would like to add that I want to use the guitar mostly with headphones …I do not want my neighbours to hear me :-) Thank you!
@SpellsandCurses10 ай бұрын
Very good question! In my opinion the Enya NEXG2 the way to go because it has effects, a looper, and a drum machine for you to play with as well as a built-in tuner that works wonderfully (and teaches you how to tune by yourself). It is also perfect for playing really quiet because it is not built as an acoustic guitar, so if you play it without headphones or without turning on the speaker, it will be very quiet. Therefore it would be perfect for playing with headphones. 🙏🙇

Hell yeah let's see the modeler at work in a future video. Strange beast. Would you dare to mic the amp/speaker? Or is it so cruddy that even running into a mini amp instead would be better to mic up. For most of the stuff I wanna do I'd go DI. But wondering about amp possibilities that are inexpensive. Thanks for such a great demo and you're playing especially during the FX test was par excellence!
@SpellsandCurses6 ай бұрын
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it and found it informative! So I personally wouldn't mic the speaker. This is my go-to guitar for solo acoustic shows and I prefer going straight into a DI. The sound is just more crisp and clear that way, especially if you edit the tones to your liking through the app. The built-in speaker is great in a pinch (and for just mucking about in general) but mic'ing it wouldn't be my first choice. And it does sound good enough when plugged into an amp, although some tweaking with the amp would be necessary.

Hey brother, do you think the battery life of enya Nexg 2 is better than Enya Nexg Se? I bought Nexg 2 but I just found out that Enya Nexg Se has almost all similar functions. What advice would you give me brother?
@SpellsandCurses5 ай бұрын
Hey dude, I honestly haven't tried the NEXG SE but you're right that they do look the same in terms of specs. Only real difference I see is the nylon strings.

Okay.. how long does the battery last in one complete charge in the Nexg 2 you are using brother? Thanks for the response 🙂

Hey! Do you know what website can I get all the modellers? I wanna grab and replicates different sounds. 😁
@SpellsandCurses7 ай бұрын
That's a great question, however, I do not. I have a habit of editing my own sounds into my Enya guitars. I'd encourage anyone with the guitar to do so with the Enya app! It's fun imo!
@NatalieRath7 ай бұрын
@SpellsandCurses Aww because I am super new to guitars, and I would love to set presets that sounds like the songs I'm playing. Like some of Nirvana and MCR.
