I am 74 have 3 high end Taylors and 8 high end Martins, and PRS's hollowbody and McCarty.. and I love the Neg2.. Neck of a les paul, stays in tune in any weather, perfect out doors jam guitar with speaker and external speaker. No downsides for the price

Incredible eh? I am excited for the future of guitar.

Same here. Got a Martin collection but this one seems great. I've used the Tonewood Amp for a while but this takes it to another level. Ordered mine yesterday, can't wait.

Heyy thanks for this video, I just won it in a giveaway so I’m trying to learn about it before it gets here and your video taught me so much and got me so excited thank you so much! I’m new to guitar so I’m tryna find my style on what kind of guitar to play so I think this is kinda perfect for that, thank you so much for the video :))

Congrats! 🎊 It will be tones of fun… It’s quite a unique guitar and it will be a fun one to learn on. Glad I can help. ✌️

I feel I should point out that the zero fret was used on some lutes and related medieval instruments maybe 400 years ago. A zero fret is not a modern feature, but it's a really cool one.
@alexraykinofficial8 ай бұрын
Definitely sounds closer to fretted notes than a nut! Very useful.

thanks for the review Ive been debating on whether to get the 1st or 2nd version I'm still not sure I'm 100% new to guitars.

Oh cool! This is definitely a high tech option… Having a Bluetooth speaker built in and all the other cool features make this a very useful guitar! I’m not sure of the differences between the two versions though.

There is only one drawback in this design, comparing it to Lava. Upper part being hollow does not allows you to play some percussion music while hitting your thumb on the body (or even palm).
@alexraykinofficial Жыл бұрын
I also wish the body was full, at least to rest my arm more substantially over it. It is more featured though.

Nice review. As you said, it is mainly an acoustic sounding guitar, but can I get some decent mild distortion sounds (for blues) from this?

I use this guitar for blues, rock, metal… Everything. It is very versatile!

Btw, does it use acoustic string or standard 9-42 electric guitar stings can be used?
@alexraykinofficial2 ай бұрын
Omg I thought I was commenting on my Mooer Audio GTRs video! This guitar is mostly acoustic, but in theory you could string it up with lighter electric strings. It has a piezo pickup so the tone would be mostly acoustic-like.

When you plug it in regular guitar output to PA, does it send just a dry signal or a full patch that you choose? And also, when you play through the PA, is speaker deactivated or you can play through the speaker and monitor at the same time?
@alexraykinofficial3 ай бұрын
When you plug it into a PA, you get exactly what the speaker would be playing, so you get the effected signal. As with plugging in the headphones, it would mute the speaker on board.

How loud it is without electronics? Looking for quiet guitar. Maybe this is little louder as eguitar unplugged
@alexraykinofficial Жыл бұрын
Since there’s a lot less body than most electrics, it is pretty quiet!

Into the guitar, no. But you can do it through a computer.

Hi do you suggest buying the basic package or the full package that comes with the mic, charging rack and earphones. Are those items really worth the price difference? Basic package - $986. Full package - $1234.

It’s worth it if you need those things and plan to do some singing with it!

I hear you. The design could be more ergonomic. The portability is nice though.

Can you use it as a real electric guitar ?
@alexraykinofficial Жыл бұрын
Well, it feels more like an acoustic. After throwing super light elixir strings on it, I can actually bend. The pickup is piezo though so you won’t get that full-on tone you would get from magnetic pickups. Think of it as an acoustic that can wear an electric mask. It does have a great modeling system with a wide array of effects though, so it will work for many people to do what hey would do with an electric. For me though, it can’t fully take its place but it comes close!

Which strings do you recommend for this guitar? I just got one, but I'm looking for some strings that will be good for bends as well.@@alexraykinofficial

You think it should have synth capabilities too? It would even be more of a chameleon then.
