Smart Home - Interaction between KNX-Philips Hue-Fibaro-Sonos-Axis

This is the fourth episode of Smart Home Automation Series, regarding interaction between KNX, Philips Hue, Fibaro, Sonos and Axis.
The application is used in this video is Iridium Lite from Iridium Mobile.
Watching this episode you will learn how to use one application in order to control all your smart devices and how you can program a KNX switch in order to turn on and off a Philips Hue light and a Fibaro Smart Plug!

Of course it is possible! In the next episode we will add Iridium Server Lite using a Raspberry Pi. So i will show you how to setup remote access. The idea is that Iridium Server will control all our devices, so the only thing that we have to do is to enable remote access to this server!

Hi! Thanks for your comment. 1. It is possible to integrate TV with i3 Lite and i3 Pro. At the moment i3 Lite has only a few modules ready but they are preparing more. Using i3 Pro you can create your own scripts. For example in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2mkZHqqhKiJodU we control a Bang & Olufsen TV with i3 Pro 2,3. You can send an email to Iridium Mobile and they will guide you about what products are supported. 4. i3 Lite License supports unlimited panels so you can very easily invite your family and let them control the devices.

What if I have alot of knx devices under the same manufacturer, how will iRidium lite tell devices apart?

It doesn't matter the manufacturer for KNX. You have 2 ways of importing KNX devices. In the first way, if you are using IP KNX Baos products Iridium Lite will discover all datapoints automatically. In the second way if you are using KNX IP Gateway you can import the project from ETS, so Iridium Lite will read all your Group addresses!

These push buttons are linked to a Group Address. So if you have a Group address for example Living_Room_Light then this Group Address will be read from Iridium Mobile.
